Version 3.2 is now released and is completely modular, you can all pick and choose what you want and what feels balanced to you. You only need to download 1 file and that is it. You receive all spells automatically as you level.
Any way you could make a version with the booming blade addition compatible with the SCAG cantrips mod here: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/592 ?
I only ask because I've been unable to get the 5e spells mod to work with my other mods, but the SCAG cantips mod works fine.
Very cool changes / additions, thank you sir ! This basically "saved" my character concept for the 1st playthrough so much obliged :) . Can i use this without the 5e spell requirement and just ignore booming blade ? I should have already tried this before posting but i guess it doesn't hurt to ask :))
Possible addition of a minor mod literally just expanding the spell list?
really double down on being a pseudo Storm bringer..
adding all Storm Elements, Thunder/Lightning/Cold spells. Cantrips, - Ray of Frost. - Shocking Grasp as Tempest can be used as a bonus action. lvl 1 spells, - Thunderous Smite (great with Shocking Grasp for more melee orientation Tempest Cleric) - Ice Knife - Witch Bolt Lvl 2 Spells - Misty Step lvl 3 Spells, - Lightning Bolt - Lightning Arrow (Dex build) lvl 5 Spells, - Cone of Cold lvl 6 Spells, - Chain Lightning - Otilukes Freezing Sphere - Wind Walk - Wall of Ice
nothing fancy or game breaking essentially giving Tempest Clerics all the tools needed to play in every way possible, controlling all the elements of the storm, double downing on the Wet Status and of course Destructive Wrath Channel Divinity.
I like the new changes, but I think they make the class a bit too strong. I think changing Tempest Surge to require concentration or just removing it would bring the class back down to a more balanced place. I think Static Bolt being a bonus action is also a bit too strong, so I think making it a full action would make it more balanced. I think the class would still be plenty strong and fun even with those nerfs. However, I understand that many people like the idea of a character being a bit overpowered, so don't let me spoil the fun.
