As far as I know, spell DCs from items and scrolls use the spellcasting ability of the class in which you most recently took a first level. As a multiclass character, you can arrange your level‑up order to your advantage. For example, if you want Mourning Frost and similar items to use Wisdom instead of Charisma, take your first level in Barbarian, then take your first level in your Wisdom‑based class (Cleric, Druid, Ranger or Monk).
I've been pulling my hair out trying to get Chilled to apply to multiple targets with a single attack, and here you provide a... rather interesting solution. Blows my mind that just.... creating another "Status" allows this to work.
Anywho, I thought I would ask you if it would be okay to upload my own mod based on your work over at mod.io. It's the same as your Legendary version, but also gives the staff Arcane Enhancement +1.
I do not plan on uploading until I get your approval. Thanks!
Is there any way to make the buffed save DC equal to 7+proficiency bonus+spellcasting ability so that it stays roughly within the 13-16.5 range? That plus the buff to targets I think keeps it in line with other VR staffs.
Not only was I literally in the middle of making my new ice build, but I'm also watching family guy as I do it, and an accidental refresh on my browser after just finishing downloading my mods let me catch this before closing nexus. The gods have clearly demanded I download this.
Getting ready to start an ice-based Sorcerer build and didn't even know this was an issue, and I see this mod pop up and ooooh, we are gonna have a good time now. Thanks.

It's what I've been using for a while, but it seems to have stopped working for me. I'm gonna try this one for my new playthrough!
