TEMPEST CLERIC ENHANCED - VERSION 3.3 - MODULAR
  • Fixed weird delay issue with casting Thunderwalk.

TEMPEST CLERIC ENHANCED - VERSION 3.2 - MODULAR

This has been made completely modular. You will receive ALL listed versions of things, you choose what to remove from your hotbar and what to use.  There are no separate downloads or anything else, it is this file and this file ONLY.

NEW ADDITIONS

TEMPEST SURGE (4 variants available see below):
  • Level 5 ACTION, 10 turns no concentration buff
  • Identical function to Call Lightning except with an increase of 1 meter in AoE radius and the following temporary bonuses while active.
  • When active you can use either of these abilities as a bonus action: Lightning Dash (Dash), or Booming Blade.
  • You now receive 4 versions of Tempest Surge. They should be fully compatible with upscaling.
  • Tempest Surge w/ bonus action Booming Blade and Lightning Dash
  • Tempest Surge w/ bonus action Lightning Dash
  • Tempest Surge w/ bonus action Booming Blade and Lightning Dash. Requires Concentration
  • Tempest Surge w/ bonus action Lightning Dash. Requires Concentration

STATIC BOLT (2 variants available see below):
  • Bonus Action, Level 5, is a 1d10 lightning damage scaling cantrip (like Firebolt), electrifies water/blood.
  • Basically a form of giving you an extra attack, but not as good as dual wielding, or having an actual extra attack.
  • You now receive 2 versions of Static Bolt
  •  Static Bolt as Action
  •  Static Bolt as Bonus Action

THUNDERWALK
  • Teleport to the target location electrifying the ground and dealing 1d4 Lightning and 1d4 Thunder damage, targets within 2 meters are knocked Prone for 2 turns. However, if the targets succeed a Dexterity Saving Throw they only receive half damage, and avoid the knockdown entirely.

STORMBOUND WEAPON
  • On a successful spell or melee attack you gain a Lightning Charge. While the charges are active you gain Magnetic Precision for 2 turns, granting Advantage against targets with metal armor, or if they are a metal construct.
  • If you feel this is too powerful, simply do not use the buff, as simple as that.

REWORKS

  • You still receive Call Lightning and Sleet Storm vanilla spells without any changes to them.
  • You also receive a separate version of Sleet Storm with no-concentration requirement.

  • You receive 2 TOGGLABLE versions of Thunderbolt Strike. Make sure you toggle off the version you are not using. Having both active doesn't seem to matter, but I would only use the one you want. NOTE On my game it gave me a THIRD greyed out version with the toggle disabled. Remove that from your hotbar it should not function at all anyways.
  • One is the vanilla knockback version
  • The other has the knockback and adds 1 lightning and 1 thunder damage on hit.

  • You now receive Thunderbolt Strike at level 4 and Divine Strike Thunder at level 6. NO I am NOT spending more time making a different version. You can actively choose whether to use these at the earlier levels or to wait until the official levels. If your preference is to follow official rules  but you lack the self control to adhere to your own preference... well that is a you problem lol. Now that Thunderbolt Strike is a toggle there is no argument that can be made that will change my mind.

SPELL LIST ADDITIONS:
  • Added THUNDEROUS SMITE to your spellbook.
  • Added BOOMING BLADE to your cantrips.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Requires 5eSpells mod for access to Booming Blade

CONFLICTS:
  • Shouldn't conflict with anything, unless it edits the progression table of the Tempest Cleric. All UUIDs are created by hand with a naming system that should never conflict with anyones mods necause it does not replicate auto UUID generation.
