I got tired of how aggressive a lot of the dyes were, and inspired by Aether's Black Dye mod (which I highly recommend as a supplement to this one for accent pieces) I put together a few dyes of my own that were a bit more reserved/grounded.
Currently includes 6 dyes: Inquisitors dye - Red, black and white Inquisitors inverted - the same, but cloth colors switched around as some armors have bizarre placement Sentinels dye - Blue, black, white with more "standard" leather and tertiary tones Skulkers dye - Black and desaturated purple Vigilant's Dye - White with lighter metals and gold trim Harlequin's Inverted - Inverted black and white from the vanilla harlequin's dye with a splash of regular fabric here and there
may add more as I get new gear/come up with new ideas.
8/22 - updated to hopefully work more items that use niche color fields like basket of equipment
Currently they can be picked up in the tutorial potion chest, or can be bought from Dammon (at any point) and at Sharess Caress
Alternatively, I use Conjure Any Item a lot in testing as you can easily summon all of them by adding the following to the TreasureTable.txt text file in said mod: new subtable "-1" object category "I_Stnl_Dye",1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 new subtable "-1" object category "I_Sklkr_Dye",1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 new subtable "-1" object category "I_Inq_Dye",1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 new subtable "-1" object category "I_Inq_Dye_Alt",1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 new subtable "-1" object category "I_Hqin_Dye",1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 new subtable "-1" object category "I_Vglnt_Dye",1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0
installation: pretty straightforward, I recommend just importing the mod via Baldur's Gate Mod Manager.
Thanks again to Aether for paving the way for this
