INTRODUCTION

Yeah...I love the Druid feel but I want to play as a Sorcerer...so here we are, Druid themed subclass number two for Sorcerers from yours truly...you can check out my first subclass mod, the Wyldling, if you want a few unique companion summons.

Whereas the Wylding relies on unique buffs and special summons, the Green World sorcerer gains more utility from a wider selection of spells, and two special abilities.

REQUIREMENTS

The main file requires the Compatibility Framework if you want it to play nice with other Sorcerer based mods. If you don't want to install anything extra, and don't plan on using other Sorcerer based mods, then just download the optional file version.

FEATURES

Starting at level 1 and at every odd level after (3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th), you will gain a bonus Druid spell of your choice on top of your regular spell selection. Level 1 is a 1st level spell choice, level 3 is a 2nd level spell choice, and this goes all the way to a 6th level spell choice at 11th level. These spells come from the entirety of the Druid spellbook.

Level 1: You gain proficiencies in Light Armor and Shields. You will gain a proficiency bonus in Nature and Survival. And you will also gain 2 Druid cantrips of your choice. 

Level 6: You gain the Dampen Elements ability, which is a passive feature and reaction. This ability allows you to use a reaction and grant you or one of your companions receiving elemental damage a resistance to that type.

Level 11: You gain the Misty Escape passive feature that allows you to become invisible upon taking damage, and on your next turn, you can cast Misty Step, though this will break your invisibility.

INSTALLATION

Using Vortex makes this much easier...but you can also check the following for a detailed explanation:

Alternatively, you can use the Win+R button and type in %appdata% in the box. Click OK, and navigate to the following folder:

C:\Users\**yourusernamehere**\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods

Unzip the zip file, and drop the GreenWorldSorcerer.pak into the mod folder. Then, load up the game, from the main menu, choose the Mod Manager. From there, click the "Installed Files" option and enable the mod by clicking on the blank box next to it, which should put a green check mark in it.
