Any chance you'd consider rolling the work done in this mod into a mod that updates Larian's Drunken Master to be closer to 5e? Maybe like how Celes has done for Bladesinger. This version is far superior to the Larian version and it'd be a shame to lose it.
I don't think they can both work at the same time as there's some crossover (e.g. this updates the prone condition and so does the patch 8 update), and I'd much rather use this version in the long run.
Hi there! I have script extender downloaded and this is my load order (community library is 0 on top!). The mod won't show up in the character creation screen! I would love some help if possible figuring out if I'm doing something wrong. I followed your article you have linked! Thank you and thanks for taking the time to create a cool mod!
I am so sorry it spammed this comment multiple times! My computer froze when I clicked "submit" and when I refreshed it duplicated the comment somehow!

It’s done … I’m waiting to add the SE enabled version here until larian approves the modio version for console, to make sure there aren’t any underlying problems I need to fix. It’s taking forever though
Thank you, for making a true Drunken Master how it's supposed to be. Rather than just another alcoholic monk subclass. I hate that everyone misses the point of Drunken Master that they're acting drunk, not actually drunk. Sadly it seems that Larian also misses the point.
Thanks for thinking so. I am really disappointed in latians drunken master- the subclass is really cool as is and I’m really happy with how it translates to bg3 from the TT material.
I dunno, man. As far as fake martial arts that don't work go, when balancing Bo Rai Cho or Jackie Chan against a guy who just stumbles around, the former sounds more fun. Besides, a monk being a drunken loser is far more realistic than a monk being a competent fighter.
It alllows you to split the attacks up against multiple targets - if you want to hit one target twice use the base game flurry of blows or at lower levels just multi target the same target twice
If you were talking about at high levels where you can make up to five attacks in your flurry against different targets then yes that multi target flurry will require you to hit a new target each time
Will u be adding the lvl 20 features from this to the larian patch 8 one when it comes out (just guessing larian wont add lvl 20 features in there version lol)
**All new Larian subclasses goin to be in patch 8 (if u didnt kno)**:
Larian likely won’t add 13-20, and their implementations won’t be 100% raw (their drunken master looks totally homebrew)
I will keep my stuff up on nexus for those people that want raw. I’ll pull my duplicates from the modio combined mods. I already told Celes he can use my stuff in Expansion for the 13-20 abilities in larians added subclasses - so you’ll need to use that
Gotcha thx you so much, never got to use this yet so i wanted to be able to get that juicy lvl 20 features lol, i got to make my Jackie Chan type character soon lol LINK
Hi, I just started playing this subclass and its really fun. I want to ask about the animations. I read that you added them, for example drinking at the start of the battle. But I didn’t have that animation even once. Is that a thing that comes with more levels ?
weird you totally should have them trigger when combat starts as soon as level 3... are you playing as a custom race by chance?... have you used tipsy sway yet? you should fall down out of the way of the attack before it hits the new target.
Ah ok... so what I did (now remembering) is that if you arent actually already "drunk" (which gives you some negative penalties) in the game when combat starts, your character will animate drinking and stumble around ... sort of a cosmetic drunk.
