Didn't this mod used to also be on mod.io? I can't seem to find it there anymore. I'm personally fine getting it here instead, but someone I play with ONLY uses mods from the in-game manager and now wanted to switch to another 2024 monk that I feel doesn't implement things as well.
Two things: Can we have an update where the class isn't renamed to "Monk (2024)" in-game? Maybe I'm a little OCD with this request but the name is spinning me.
Less of a request and more of a suggestion: per PHB, Uncanny Metabolism is free ability you can choose to use when rolling for initiative one per long rest and shouldn't cost an action like it does in the mod. Perhaps as an implementation, it can be a passive that triggers an interrupt at the start of combat that allows you to choose whether you want to use it or not. May seem nitpicky but it actually makes a huge difference.
hi there having the same issue, where in the load order did you move it to to fix this?
edit: my issue was a conflict between this and unlock level curve, having this above unlock is what made flurry of blows disappear. however, having load after level curve is messing with some of the level curve features. hopefully a compatibility patch will drop soon
Update: Messed with the load order and got it to work
Unarmored Defense is wrong for me. It says it will add the wisdom modifier but with a DEX of plus 4 my ac is still only 14, so wisdom isnt being added at all. Was also missing the elemental auras after going with that subclass.
It would be a really cool change if the shadow monk could move the darkness spell like in the new PHB but i gotta admit that does sound really hard to implement. Either way i love this mod already, thank you!
So this mod completely overwrites the current Monk class? I have all kinds of Monk Mods downloaded. I will check this out when I start another game. It'd be cool if you could make it its own class. I'd like to give it a run right now. Everyone seems to think Monk 2024 is going to be so much better. This mod makes me itch to find out.
I must have overlooked that part from the 2024 PHB. I assume I could do something like how Moonbeam is cast. I'll look into it as soon as I get a chance.
This is my first mod, so I'm not entirely sure, sorry. This mod overrides the progression table for 1-12 of the base class and subclasses, but I didn't add any of the 13-20 levels yet. I haven't noticed any conflicts when running it alongside the 13-20 expansion mod, but I also haven't tried to level up past 12 yet either.
