Anyway to auto "Ungroup" anyone who sits? I'm constantly sitting, moving to the next character, & the 1st one moves. :/
Along those same lines, anyway to have "auto sit position"? Kinda like what happens when everyone goes to sleep, but sitting around your fire? (I realize this would probably only work, for the 1st four characters)
And finally, an "extinguish fire". It might glow, for a minute, and then delete. Right now I carry a campfire in my pack!!! ROFL!
What do you mean? I've been using it along with my girlfriend in patch #8 since it's launch without problems. It's the sit action not appearing for you or you mean the healing passive?
Hi this mod is working great so far! I use a controller though and there's no icons for the spells in the controller hotbar (which is a wheel). I saw there's icons when playing using a mouse, any chance you could have the icon available for controller too? It just makes it easier to identify the spells and looks nicer. Here's a picture of what it looks like when using a game controller: https://imgur.com/a/51mGPYG
Thank you for making this mod! It's just a small detail, but I love it! It had always kinda annoyed me how I couldn't have my Tav sit down at her camp while she was idling, lol.
As I was playing with the mod though, I did run into a couple roadblocks. I'm not sure if these issues are intentional or not, but I figured I would mention them anyway in case you are looking for that kind of feedback.
1) I had issues getting party members to stay seated in camp. While I was in camp, if I sat one party member down and then clicked to another, the one I clicked off of would stand up. (Ex. if I had Shadowheart sit down and then switched to Karlach, Shadowheart would stand back up.) The only exception to this was my Tav. My Tav would stay seated regardless of who I clicked on.
2) I play with adriant1978's "Full Custom Companions" mod. At first, this mod worked perfectly with all of my custom companions, but once I used the FCC mod's spell "set camp location" for the companions, I could no longer get them -- or anyone -- to stay seated while we were in camp. If I clicked off of them, they would stand up. (Again, the only exception is Tav who stays seated all the time, even after shutting down the game.)
3) I tried using this in the world maps too -- I had my party try to sit down together in the druid grove. I had similar issues with getting everyone to stay seated, UNLESS I toggled off "group mode". As long as the party members were not grouped together, they would stay seated. I tried the ungrouping thing in my camp too, but it didn't work.
Regardless though, tysm for making this cute little mod.
Hi! I'm afraid that is a limitation from the game itself, while on camp any companion with a predefined camp location (like all default companions or custom companions after using the spell) will abort any action they're doing and return to it's location the moment they're not controlled by a player. For this exists a workaround: this mod has a passive that prevents the companions from returning to it's position (Stand still), using that passive would allow you to keep your companions seated in camp. If I found a way to replicate it by my own means, I may include it in this mod, but until then, you could use their mod. As for the third point, that's also a limitation from the game itself. It happens also if you sit on chairs or lie in a bed and I don't know any workaround for this but to toggle off the group mode.
I'm a bit late, but I found a way to make them stay seated or even performing a song while in camp and not actively controlling them. As for the group mode I didn't found a way to do it, but as the workaround is just pressing a key, I don't think I will look further into it.
This mod also has a sitting function but no campfire. However, it lets you heal from sitting and heal faster from sitting near a fire. Compatibility between the two would be nice so we don't have two siting passives to choose from or at least so that both of them enable healing and cooldowns. I was even thinking that it would be cool to add resources like fire building materials to give a little bit of survival immersion to the process too.
EDIT: My bad it does have a campfire and you do need to use resources to make them :) I also see you've updated your mod to include similar functionality :D
Hi! Yes, it was on my to-do list and I finally found a balanced approach for my taste and also a way to respect who only want a sitting mod without boosts. But I took a quick peak at his mod and looks awesome! Now they're mostly redundant, and considering that you want a craftable campfire, you should go with his mod. But you can use both if you really want, just take out my sitting spell from your hotbar (as my bonus applies when the game detects that you are "reposing", which englobes sitting on the ground, sitting on chairs and maybe lying on beds) and the bonus from both mods will stack.
That's really good news for those of us playing with difficulty increasing mods :D tysm for the confirmation that I can use both together safely! And ty for the cool mod. Honestly I know some stuff was left out of the game but not putting in sitting and healing around campfires or other emotes, really? From a partially online game? Wth Larian xD

Ideas, for the future:
