I'm having the same problem, but I've been using the "diamond dice" mod. Even after it's uninstalled, the game still Crashes to Desktop every time I try to disarm a trap. I don't know what to do to play the game again.
EDIT: I updated Improved UI Assets and Improved UI files to the current versions -that fixed it.
yes I used it normally through out all the patches and it works in patch 6, including hotfix 26, using them right now :) your crashes must be due to something else.. I would check on ImprovedUI mod if you use any extra modules other than the base file...
all i want is dice set and says i need improved ui, this comes with alot of stuff? i already have something called immersive ui, anyway i can just download whats needed for dice skin change?
Can't get this mod to work. Running on windows, tried adding it in both the mod manager and the mod folder in Steam. Haven't tried local yet but idk if that will do the trick...any tips on load order? I really want these dice over the plain ones.
Did you figure it out? My load order got messed-up somehow, and ever since, this beautiful dice mod has not been working no matter what I do.
EDIT: It had been months since I changed my dice style, so I forgot the menu even exists. Noticed it, and reactivating the Astral Sea style was as easy as selecting it in the window.
Has anybody gotten this to work on mac os? I can't get any dice mods to work. I already tried with latest improved UI + adding/removing modfixer, I installed the game 2 days ago and I'm on a fresh campaign with no mods, so I guess dice mods are simply broken on mac?
Edit: solved, add dice mod to mod order, UUID 0be6ecf6-69ec-4f9c-b9a6-db1bf72a7069, folder AstralDice.
Mystery solved, it seems on mac os dice mods must be added to your mod order. The UUID for this mod is 0be6ecf6-69ec-4f9c-b9a6-db1bf72a7069, folder name is AstralDice. How to add manual mods: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/articles/129
I know this is fairly old at this point, but where did you find this information? There are several dice sets on Nexus that don't list that info anywhere that I've found, and don't include an info.json file either.
I might be late, but I was able to find all needed information by opening the related .pak file with TextEdit.app, it includes FolderName, Name and UUID under <children> tag along with a bunch of other info. After adding FolderName, Name and UUID to the modsettings.lsx, dices started to work just fine. It's not for every mod though, but I can confirm that it works for Astral dice and Galaxy dice mods on Mac OS.
Anyone able to make a guide or send a screenshot of the text portion? I am confused how much info to add such as author, node id, folder, name, md5, tags, etc etc.

Your mileage may vary. Maybe I got lucky.
