Any ideas why this mod would show up as version 2.0.0.5 while my friends version shows up as 2.0.0.4? We have a multiplayer game going for a month and a half now and all of a sudden it says we have different versions. This mod doesnt show as having an update on here or mod.io since it released, and the mod.io version shows as 2.0.0.4, so I am kind of lost why this is happening
Hello. The modding toolkit forces us to generate a new version number for every export, so the NexusMods and mod.io versions of the mod are often different versions by a number of 1 but, in this particular case, the mod content is actually the same in both versions.
Regardless of that, YOU SHOULD ONLY download the mod from one source to ensure compatibility, as sometimes the NexusMods version of a mod is not the same as the mod.io veresion.
What you describe suggests you (or your friend) downloaded this mod from NexusMods while the other downloaded from mod.io. Always download the same mod from the same place when playing together. Also do not accept updates from the in-game mod manager if you are using a NexusMods version (in-game mod manager updates should only be used when you are using mods downloaded using mod.io/the in-game mod manager itself).
This mod adds the spells to the correspondent spell lists by merging, not overwriting, which means it should be compatible with any other mods as long as they don't overwrite themselves. The mod was made this way for maximum compatibility.
If you don't see them, it's possible you have a mod that overwrites the correspondent spell lists (Druid Spell Level 3 and Ranger Spell Level 3) loaded after my mod. Try loading my mod after all other mods that might affect spell lists, near the end of the load order.
