Greetings, thank you for everyone's support and patience, I'm having a hard time with the other Mod, when I started I didn't think so many problems would appear, as soon as I can "breathe" a little, I'll finish the boots and gloves, post everything nice and tidy, etc.

The outfit in question is the classic 97 PS1 outfit, it may have a few things or two, but it's easy to use, except that if you use the mod in your save, I recommend making a backup of it, because you can't remove the mod from your save later

    That's it

I don't know why either, some really annoying bug.

if you mean the one from the official mod website/manager; it wont. As long as modder has the file in the website. Even if you download updates from here, nexus, and install it with BG3MM; since the file has the same name as the one in official website; game will think its the same mod and show it as such, until the creator/modder removes it from official website.

Are you saying remove the mod from the BG3ModManager? If you can't delete it from the in-game manager, go to "AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods" and delete the mod file in question. in this case: "cloudoutfit_0ea36d60-e501-627f-xxxx.pak"

Any chance you'll be doing the updated armors? Graphically speaking. Big fan of the traditional SOLDIER armor too, like Zack has

In the near future, yes, but it will take time.

  4. I'm not seeing the updated visuals in-game after downloading the new version and replacing the old with it. At least it doesn't appear to be any different to me, and is still showing the darker metal for the bracer and shoulder guard.

Is there any additional step for updating it, perhaps?
    1. Check if "ambient occlusion" is active in the video settings and disable it, or if you used dye on the armor
    2. Fixed (1.3.0.0)
    3. 1.3.0 appears to have done the trick, just as you said. And I've got to say, it looks amazing! The shine is great when next to a fire or light, the color metal looks really good in the inventory/character page too. And that shoulder space/gap I mentioned way back when, looks entirely gone! This mod just keeps getting better and better, lol. Thank you for all the hard and tireless work you do on it.

Aside from the item names themselves, it would in theory be identical, as they appear similar in both the original and Remake, along with Zack giving Cloud a suit identical to his that he finds in Shinra Manor, during Crisis Core.

the item has just one shoulder pad, like how cloud does. While Zack wears two shoulder pads with no screws in them. That's the slight difference.

Ah, right. I'd completely forgotten he had the double.

Also, I would like to point out that the item in question doesnt appear in the tutorial chest. It does appear when you start a new game but not on the tutorial chest.

For some reason it doesn't appear in the tutorial chest. I'm trying to solve this.

Tested it out and love the design. Amazingly done and makes me so happy to get to play as Cloud a little more fully.

Only caveat, it doesn't appear to work for characters with the Strong Body Type, aka Body Types 3 and 4. On my current playthrough I picked Body Type 3 and decided to throw it on, and he appears naked, but putting the outfit on Gale (as shown in the screenshots you provided, which thank you on those, they're an awesome addition to the mod page) and it appeared perfectly with no issues. Created a new save just to double check and used Body Type 1, and the armor appeared on the character without any issues.

Means I've got to go with Body Type 1 for future playthroughs, but I'm honestly ok with that because it just means it's more thematic that it's physically Cloud's gear and if you're bigger it just doesn't fit you, lol. More RP potential for me, haha.

Thank you for this, it's an awesome addition that puts a goofy grin on my face every time I think about it because I now get to play (almost) fully as Cloud! How cool is that?! (Still no hair for him, but I just think of it as he ran out of hair gel, lmao) (Also, can you tell who my favorite FF character of all time is 🤣? Admittedly I can be a bit too fanboy-ish over him and am a bit obsessed, but he's always just struck a chord with me ever since I first saw that opening scene back in 97. I can't thank you enough for this, along with the folks that have added the Buster Sword in. Y'all rock so much!)

Edit: Oh! A good way for anyone to test it, if you're curious about whether it works with your mods, or how it will look for you, etc., is to start up your game without it, turn off autosaves temporarily, save manually, then relaunch with it active. Test it out, and if you don't like it just turn it off and remove the mod. Load back in and you're good to go.

I actually just found that one after going through all of your other mods! I decided to take a look to see what other cool stuff you had done and saw the other FF7 mods, which linked to several others. I've had so much fun exploring different mods just from that. Seeing all of the different things people have done just on these characters was awesome, and I absolutely love it.

Currently getting the hair mod and a few others installed now. Gonna do a playthrough as Cloud with Shadowheart swapping outfits between Tifa and Aeris (Yes, I know, Aerith is the official and updated, but my brain is always going to gravitate to Aeris since that's what I have the most memories tied to, lol.). Would love to have Karlach wear Tifa's gear, but I have no idea if Strong Tiefling body type is supported in it.

Again, thank you so much. Not only for this mod but for the others as well, and for showing me so many other amazing mods and creators!

After putting it into my mod order I was given the item in my inventory. It shows up in said inventory with all of its stats displayed, and uses the Armor slot as a Medium Armor. Unfortunately it does not actually appear on the character and they instead appear nude (minus any helms, cloaks, gloves, boots, amulets, or underwear they have on.). I tested this both with other equipment on and without.

For anyone curious of the armor's stats, they are as follows:
    Classic Cloud Outfit
    Very Rare Clothing
    18 Armour Class
Superior Plate: You take 1 less Piercing damage.
Balance: Gain a +1 to Dexterity Saving Throws and Checks.
Flavor text: Classic Outfit from Cloud Final Fantasy VII
AC bonus from Dexterity limited to +4
    Medium Armour
    3 Weight, Value 1,600 Gold

I was also able to get a screenshot of the tooltip itself for anyone needing a visual reference. (Original intent was to get a screenshot of the armor being worn, to assist anyone that may wish to see it in use. Sadly this has to suffice at the moment.)

Also, based on what I saw in-game, at least from the item's tooltip, the shoulder guard is on the wrong shoulder.

*Update*: While the shoulder guard appears in the tooltip over the left right shoulder (while looking at the front and belt), when used it does indeed appear over the left shoulder as it would for Cloud in the original games. No visual issues that I'm seeing.

No screenshots of the outfit that you're actually adding?
