very nice mod but can you add a submod to have more secret magic maybe like 2 or 4 at a time instead of just one, theres one mod for bard to have 4 instead of 2 i tried to add but didnt work please do it pretty please :)
While the out of combat utility is nice, I think this subclass focuses on that utility far too much at the expense of combat ability. It really seems like a Durge should have more of a Bhaalist influence to draw upon, for example. There's also some points that are redundant in-game - speak with dead is a big waste of a lvl 3 spot considering everyone knows you can get it for free from the Necromancy of Thay book. Speak with animals is similarly easily replaced by potions in-game, and has no conceptual ties to the Durge story at all. I think this needs major reworking conceptually.
Author Notes: This was made as a way to test out the process of making a subclass using the toolkit. It's mostly just a basic mix of Bard and Rogue abilities purely to keep it simple.
This was made when we were still testing the mod toolkit. It was primarily made to quickly test out the process and not get bogged down too deeply in the spell selection (and not rely upon 5e Spells) whilst enabling easy support for Warlock Patron spells - if you've got a list of spells from the base game that you think would fit, I am more than happy to give ponder changing them.
I've kept it deliberately vague so players can decide themselves. It could be memories of a past life empowering you, it could be a spirit that tried to take over the unused body when the character died or, heck, it could be connecting to another version of yourself from across the multiverse. It's up to each person to decide if and how it fits together for them.
I'm going to give your mod out because with my StrongBlade Hobgoblin Resist Urge. I just a bit more lore about them and excited to gave this playthrough a try.
