PLEASE READ This mod is Patch 7 compatible thanks to feedback from several helpful fans (really appreciate it) and also hours of play testing Mike and I did for enjoying the new evil endings content. The Patch 7 madness with so many mods being broken has really been a test of my patience. Here is a little known fact of my mods, ALL OF THEM: my mods do not rely on other mods, libraries or frameworks nor does it require script extender or anything else. They all use unique named entries with newly generated UUIDs and use strict base game only based rules, statements and checks.
Now with the comments being locked I get PM'd with ridiculous claims of my mods being broken... yet when I ask send me a list of their mods I get either no reply or just an aggressive response asking why and that I should just fix my @!#!$%...
I have since Patch 7 restarted my mod collection which once was over 140 mods (this is a very small count comparted to some users and the most popular collections) my mod count now is 20... why? When patch 7 hit, none of my saves worked and even starting a new game was broken... so I started again, adding just a few mods at a time. So many kept causing crashes or loading problems. They are probably fixed by now but my mods and just a few visual mods worked without getting patched. I simplified my list, loaded my favorite visual mods and my own mods and started a new honor mode game, finished the game and had a lot of fun.
What has not been fun, getting on nexus and being flooded with alerts and messages... so here is my message to anyone reading this:
I get no monetization or anything... like absolutely nothing from my mods and not even the nexus reward of one month membership is useless to me, the free speed is already faster than my internet xD (that's a very sad truth)
I want to thank those who without complaint enjoyed my mods for what they are and there are plenty of you and also those who did take time to provide actual proper feedback, opinions and comments and then the kind folks who complimented and encouraged me and know that I appreciated all of it and I am very grateful to all of you.
GOING FORWARD I am unfortunately done with bg3 mod making. BUT... if you want to modify, translate or abuse my mods go right ahead and you don't need my permission and I honestly don't want to know about it. Do whatever you like with any of it.
Thank you Nexus for allowing me to host my mods here, appreciate it. Special thanks to everyone that made it an enjoyable experience.

I just to thank and also apologize to everyone here. I know that by comparison my mods lack a certain shine to advertising itself, this is where I fall short and have to rely on a friend to make the media to use on nexus.
Mike has been down with flu and myself have been overworked especially squeezing in time to make mods that I enjoy to play myself. I know that this is difficult to understand, especially with this game, there is so so many things to consider, check, test and just to go over it is exhausting which is not an excuse, but when you have 2 hours at best a day and at my age... there is never enough coffee or time lately...
I hope however you enjoy this mod, the fun part is making it, but descriptions are done at the very end as I make the mod and I don't need descriptions, constantly adding, changing and testing make descriptions a terrible time consumer during creation, sometimes an idea seems great but does not always work as expected...

love this mod, i started a campaign and was wanting to do a cold damage run, so this is perfect. ive installed it and currently using it, but i think i found a bug (unless this is intended). im duel wielding the frost swords and the attacks use both weapons but only consume action points and no bonus actions. allowing me to attack with the main hand weapon 2 times and the offhand weapon 4 times (i have 2 bonus actions + the 2 attacks with the action). is that intended or are the weapons kinda buggged/not registering that they are supposed to be duel wielding.
Using the Swords from the mod swings both weapons (dual wield attack) for only one action point, providing there is a bonus action available but does not consume it. The descriptions where getting long and I should probably state this is intended, they are exactly like the Servant of Bhaal mod. If you have no bonus point, they only swing the mainhand weapon. This build is Strength based so finding a way to deliver enough hits if you are a single player, this is the only way to do so, it also adds to making choices when to use the bonus action points, using them first or last becomes necessary, maybe not act 1 but by act 3 preserving least one bonus action would be wise...

Hii great mod!! but i have a lil problem, i am using a class that have a spell that allow me to add finesse property to wepons for change asking stat from str to dex, well with ur longswords it don't work. I make some try changing weapons for be sure the problem is ur weap, and with any other weap the skill work and chnage to dex for rolls and dmg.
with ur weap the skill add finesse property to weap, but they still ask me str instead change it to dex. Idk why only with ur weap :(( But cuz i want to use it so bad, it are perfect with my frozen dark urge team, i'm asking u if is possible to fix this. Please.....
I download new update right now, and i will try iof work, i really hope that. I let u know if it work or no.
But you can always use alternative weapons, nothing critical on the swords provided and the frost damage buffs will apply on other weapons... but this will unfortunately not change, sorry

is there any way to stop the armor from perma freezing an enemy every turn/start of battle? that ability is just beyond op cause they dont thaw, its just gg ez. if that could be togglable or something i think that would be perfect, or maybe instead of freezing them, it just marks them and they still give off the frost aura but dont freeze.
I like this idea, toggle passive is perfectly doable and yeah I think this is worth implementing, thank you :D I am just waiting on the new patch 7 to drop though as there may or may not be a need to go over every mod again for compatibility fixes etc... but once the dust settles from the new update I'll definitely implement the passive toggle to enable freezing or not freezing the chosen soul... just the chosen soul or maybe freezing from the pulse each turn as well? Let me know
thats great, thank you. ya my only issue is that the entire set is already very powerful, and then with the freezing the chosen soul, that can target bosses and stuff and just kinda shuts down the fight xD. maybe give all the options you listed so people can choose? idk. but personally id definitely prefer if the chosen soul only did the frostfell aura and didnt auto freeze. thank you again, really enjoying the mod
did you mean the cloak? I could add that the gloves keep your hands warm... to the description... this really is not my strength and honestly English is not my first language so I know the descriptions aren't exactly golden reading material... If you or anyone you know wish to help in this regard I would really appreciate the help and make changes for better descriptions is always welcome :) I appreciate the comment though and I'll see after patch 7 on making improvements

Interesting. I feel elemental effects are a bit discouraged by the random nature of how you find gear for certain types of builds. With this even my lazy ass will finally see how frost & ice can influence combat more than just letting people slip on frozen surfaces.
If you enjoy enemies falling prone on ice, that still remains the bulk of iced surfaces... but now there is just a lot more of it xD think amateur night at the ice skating rink :O
That cloak has haunted my dreams... so I rectified that piece of cloth to co-operate :P yeah sorry my friend that helps with media has been down with flu and there has been severe time constraints, I have been meaning to reply to every post before now, but having the time to do so has been difficult, there will be better info after patch 7, currently waiting to see what mods needs fixing after the new patch and may as well go over all my mods again, read and see where improvements can be made, media or mod related... but thanks for posting though and hope you enjoy the mod :D

I also understand that so much time goes into making these and I don't think you need to apologize for not going heavy on the advertising part since this is a passion project that you enjoy. I'm doing several new campaigns and your mods have gotten me excited to play again! Thanks for all your hard work!

- Chosen Soul does not permafrost anymore, start of each turn a constitution saving throw is required to avoid frozen status
- All saving throws needed lowered from 14 to 12
- Each turn of the Chosen Soul now breaks concentration on enemies affected by both near and far aura de-buff
- Fixed some descriptions and visual fixes
