FOR THOSE WHO SUBSCRIBED THROUGH MOD.IO IN PATCH 7:
The internal mod manager of the game sometimes refuses to update mods/delete previous versions of them when users try to update. I'm sure this will be fixed soon, but in the meantime, you'll have to manually disable & remove the old versions of the file from your mod folder, then boot the game up and resubscribe to the mod in the mod manager.
I am using BG3MM. Nothing is displayed for me to choose from. I use Unique Tav and Magic Mirrow, Improved UI of course, but that shouldn't be a problem.
just to rule this out, I'm pretty sure this mod only adds horns for tieflings. aside from that, I'm not sure why the horns wouldn't show up. I have unique tav myself but I still get the horn options.
Okay, I'm stupid. I didn't even think about that. I never play tieflings because I don't like the extended back. The mod works perfectly for tieflings. It's such a shame that you can't give the horns to everyone.
These are SO pretty! I'd love to see these horns but like, sized down by like 50%. I love the broken horns and the jewelry on it, it'd be really cool if there was the jewelry option for the broken horn combo. As well as sized down horns. I rarely see nice small horns, let alone ones with jewelry. These are gorgeous though. Definitely want to see more horns from you in the future if you ever add more. <3
Unfortunately this mod makes my game stuck at 95% loading. Though if i disable it through the BG3MM and then enable it in inner mod manager it works fine. Any ideas why this can be happening?
Strange, considering it's the exact same file both on here and mod.io. You're fine just using the one you find in the internal mod manager, if that's the case. The updates are easier to track.
Edit: misread your comment. My guess is that it has something to do with BG3MM not updating your modsettings.lsx file properly. Check for updates. Either way, as long as you can load your game, it's fine I guess.
Great looking horns. Not sure whats going on though (Since I know nothing about making mods) but I subscribed to this mod thru Mod.io and when I tried to update to the newest version... I added the new version to the mod folder but it didn't get rid of the old version so there were now 2 versions and this caused my save to not load. I had to "Downgrade mod" to get my save to work again.
So far these are my favourite horns. Nicely done. Any chance they can be added to the patches that support the Half-Tief's mod, so that they could be used on other races? Cheers!
These look amazing but I'm having trouble getting the mod to work :( When I run the game with it active, it nullifies all of my other mods and won't show up
This is an issue I've had before with a different mod, and what fixed it back then was following this comment's advice, from the steam community discussion:
If you are using BG3 Mod Manager. Go type %localappdata% in file explorer and enter. Navigate to .\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public (replace Public with your profile name). Delete the file modsettings.lsx Then navigate to .\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods and delete the files here. Then open BG3 Mod Manager and re-add everything. Move everything over to the left to enable it and then save the Export Load Order to Game.
Worth a try. However, I managed to replicate your issue with this mod on another PC and this fix doesn't seem to work. This mod was done in a slightly different way than usual, so if I don't find a different fix in the meantime, I'll rework and update the file. I'll update you here. Cheers!
Yeah i also just spent the past hour or two troubleshooting the cleared load order issue lol. apparently this sometimes happens where there is an issue with meta.lsx, but i've never made a horn mod so i can't say exactly what the problem could be
edit: i would delete and remake the meta.lsx as a starting point, even if nothing appears to be wrong sometimes that fixes it. i have also had load order clearing issues with my own mods

I'll be reading them.

The mod works. You don't need to use the old files
