About this mod
Restores Astarion's patch 3 / pre patch 4 body/skin texture utilizing VT and SE. Does not require old shaders.

Patch 7 compatible
With Patch 4 Astarion's skin textures were significantly changed, not for the better in my opinion. While there are already mods available that restore the old textures, they rely on Trips' old shader pack and the body sweat effect does not work with them.
Utilizing Script Extender and Virtual Textures I was able to restore his original textures without requiring old shaders. And as the title suggests, Astarion's body does sweat.
Part of my Baldur's Date mod series (wip).
Requirements:
Norbytes Script Extender
BG3 Mod Fixer (only for Patch 6)
Recommended:
Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager
Compatibility:
should work fine with head texture edits, I didn't touch those
(probably) not compatible with anything that changes Astarion's skin texture
Installation:
install the .pak with a Mod Manager of your choice
Load Order:
load my mod prior to other Virtual Texture Mods
Uninstallation:
safe to remove at any time via mod manager
if you use other virtual textures, delete the SEMergedTileSet.gts from your Data folder after uninstalling
to force the game to generate a new one
