They can synergize perfectly with this mod. For RP druids. (I'm currently going through a duo of Druid Restoration Circle + Sorcerer/Wizard Lightning Dragon) I recommend it!
Thanks! I'm glad you like my mods. There is this pretty cool lightning lightning druid mod: Circle of Stormchasers Druid Subclass, I haven't played it in a while, but I remember it being fun. I don't have any plans to make a lightning druid, but I do plan to make a lightning patron for warlocks.
So I used this mod for patch 7, updated for patch 8 and redownloaded your new version but I dont see Restoration in the list of subclasses. Any help? Thanks
EDIT : I am really dumb and didnt download both Compatibility framework and Community Library (Only installed Community Library), will leave this up just in case others are as dumb. Great mod btw
Loving this for my druid. It fits his personality so much better than the vanilla subclasses. Do you have plans for more subclasses, other than the ones you already created?
Thanks! Yes, I want to do a lightning and/or water patron for warlocks. I also plan to do a healing subclass for wizards, warlocks, and sorcerers and maybe some of the martial classes if I think of some interesting ideas.
Water Blast cantrip do not work for me idk why...i can cast it and char do animation, but do animation on target and no dmg. Nothing in the combat log too, only "Tav cast Water Blast" and then nothing...Any idea? i have this mod almost at bottom of my order so it must have priority...

I did see that someone else was working on a shaman mod. I'd already mostly decided to stop working on mine anyways. I don't really mind if other people are doing similar things to me if that's what you're getting at.

Is there any chance for more homebrew spells? Adding a few more water-based options would be great for flavor! They might even be defensive or crowd control if you want to avoid strong damaging spells. Just a thought :)
I hadn't planned to add any additional features to the subclass. I didn't want to make the other subclasses too shallow in comparison. However, if you have any specific ideas for a type of spell you would like, I can try to implement it.
Thank you for breaking my dependancy on Divine Soul sorcerers and giving me a new healer to play around with! This mod is pretty awesome, riptide and chain heal especially. Kudos on the great work!
Hello. just wanted to say thank you for creating this. I always wanted to play a Druid because I love them in fantasy but never felt like the base game subclasses fit my playstyle. This is exactly what I was looking for, you are incredible!
The only feedback I can think of would be upon level 7 when you unlock water blast is if it could make the target you hit get the "wet" status. The class would become so good with that because you can play off water/ice even when going long periods of not resting.
So this is what I am thinking for the Water Blast rework.
-Unlocks when you select your subclass instead of level 7 -1d8 cold damage (one extra die at level 5, 11, 17). -Applies wet status for 2 turns on hit -Creates water surface for 2 turns -Only 1 ray instead of multi hit, otherwise wet status applies on first hit and additional rays deal double damage which is broken (imo).
This sounds great I would have a few questions on the interaction with some gear though. For example the ring you get in act 2 that creates a 4.5m ice circle would that cause you to get double damage even off just one hit?
That ring shouldn't change the damage calculation in anyway. Water blast will deal cold damage, apply wet and create a water surface. The ring will create a frost surface, which will freeze the water surface (basically overwriting it).
Right now I am trying it out and I think this change is perfect. The water effect allows the druid to contribute even if low on spell slots and goes well with other mods that add spells such as 5E spells. I also noticed the chain healing spell is working much better. Thank you very much for the change!
