Hi! So because I was new to this I zipped the file wrong the first time and the virus scanner threw a fit. The main file now is correct and downloadable. 1/5/2025: This should work across all patches, they are just dummy files. I haven't exhaustively tested these so I'm unsure if they are playing nicely in multiplayer but as far as single player goes I've had 0 issues.
Have had a couple weirdness incidents that might implicate these kind of Camp/Enviro edits as conflicting with certain mods, so your placement might just be the ticket (try testing with, e.g., Save Alfira and/or Alfira Joins the Party and/or the Bloodletter custom companion in your l/o {not sure where you would load those in your schema 'tho})
would it be possible for you to add some tabs for the different companions? If I knew how to make these myself I would do it, but alas I am unfamiliar with how to or where to try to start
I just saw this if you still need a tab I believe I have a file for Companion Edits if that would work? Or are you wanting individual companions listed?
I'm liking these categories & order, they seem to align well with the load order framework/meta I've evolved on my own. And they further delineate some things I hadn't considered or figured out on my own (yet?). Nice!
Wondering: How much does your framework stem from, e.g., the BG3 Community General Load Order meta? How much is your own personal hard-won experience? {I run a looooong load order & I keep running into things that don't quite seem to fit the general meta or are edge cases that kinda break it... so hoping to find something from someone who's had lots of experience [my brain cells are tired from the l/o juggling, lol]}
This stems from BG3 Load Order meta and a **lot** of trial and error especially in regards to the UniqueTav section. I found some of the recommended orders would have utav interact in weird ways with certain mods like Astralities Glow eyes and even just how colors interacted with my body tattoos. Everything else is pretty variable to be honest.
The good news for me (at least for now) is that even with nearly a 1,000 mods in my l/o, I don't use any UTav (or any of its dependents), so I don't need to deal with *that*. For now. (At some point, my magpie attention may make me want to start playing with UTav, but -- as Aragorn would say -- not *this day!)
I *do* have some visual mods (e.g., Wrinklemap Smoothing, Brush Your Teeth, More Abs Shadowheart), but not UTav per se. And they all seem to fit/work nicely in my l/o in between Piercings & Accessories (incl genitalia/landscaping) (above/before) -and- all my Eyes / EotB stuff (after/below). And, yes, Eyes stuff generally & EotB / Astralities Glowing Eyes in particular {I run both!} have also given me agida/weirdness. I load them fairly late, just before Padme4000's CC/VFX Head race compat patches.
My weirdness/edge case difficulties mostly seem to revolve around FROG, Followers of Zerthimon, KazTex and whatnot... they kinda kerfuckle with the normal order/logic of Race & [certain] Compatibility patches, so I've had to jerry-rig a special late-loading category to try to deal with it. Which annoys my sense of feng shui (lol).
The other area where I wander from the Community's wiki guideline is in re: UI mods... I tend to load them much earlier than the guideline recommends (seems to work, and makes the most feng shui sense to may addled mind).
Edit: fwiw, other edge cases that I'm not sure about... - Dual-Wielding & Extra Attack mechanics/fixes/compatibility - Animate Dead++ et seq vs. Necromancy overhauls/tweaks, Path of UnDeath... and how they all relate to Difficulty/Encounter/Combat mods - AV Item Shipment Framework (Dead Last?) - oddballs like wtfbengt's Feats Uni and/or More Spell Choices... are they Feats, or a late-loading Feats compat patch? are they a Spell Library, or a late-loading Spells compat patch? Enquiring minds want to know, lol...
Sorry, don't mean to abuse this thread... I'm just on a brain dump jag (feel free to ignore)
Hi! I just reuploaded a second file (a scanning issue messed with the first, apologies on that) so just grab that file and install as you normally would.

Been experimenting... really want to know where they should go?
