I'd really love if this was toggleable, so I could turn it off if I wanted to cast a cantrip and a bonus action spell in the same turn. Had to respec Wyll to remove this because it conflicted too much with Hex.
I think it would make this feat too strong then. Warlock is already really strong without this mod and this mod's goal not to buff it but rather to make other builds more viable.
While I'd normally agree... But in this case you are having to take it as a feat, so it's really not that overpowered to be able to cast a cantrip as a bonus actions, as well as be able to cast one in place of a regular action... If one is willing to trade one of their actions to do something that costs a bonus action that seems a fair trade to me... But I am an "err on the side of fun" kind of DM and player... Just my 2 coppers on the issue...
Bonus action can be just as/more valuable as normal action in certain situations. Imagine caster with no spell slots and weak melee stats for normal attack. In this case swapping normal action for bonus action might be preferable if there's something they can do with it. And having an option to use 2 cantrips in turn with both actions is even worse.
True, BUT. as a Sorlock this is not ideal. reason: I use a Sorlock and level 2 fighter. reason: 1 Action to cast Eldritch Blast spend Sorcery point to cast it again as a bonus action use action surge to get my second action and use haste or drink a potion of speed before the fight starts.
this gives me 3 actions and 1 bonus action = Cast 4 Eldritch Blast on first turn, and 3 on the next if having enough sorcery points. Now this mod will limit me to 2 no matter what I do here..
I really think it doesn't make sense to lock someone into only using their bonus action to use cantrips and take away the ability to use them as actions, for example if you compare to cunning action from rogue 2 you can still hide/dash/disengage as an action or as a bonus action and it's your choice, so you have the versatility and options. It's already not an overpowered feat even in a build built around it and as it is now makes some builds weaker with it than without it as highlighted by AkimboDK. I love the idea behind the feat but I hate when something as expensive to your build as a feat takes away functionality/abilities.
Sorry, they work together, what I meant to say was if there was a patch that added +1 stat of your choice to cantrip master as well, which is what the Feats Upgraded mod gives to all other feats.
Oh, hello, that's me. Like Afftor I'm worried about the balance if this had +1 ASI. This has the +1 ASI built into it. Just replace normal Cantrip Master. Also anyone else who reads this, still give Afftor the download at least.

Cantrips still use action and not bonus action
t was working fine for me up until today and I am seeing the same issue as you are.
LOL nvm.I haven't added any new mods and upgraded a small handful that should have nothing to do with this one.
The mod was being loaded near the top of the list when it stopped working. I moved it to the bottom and still no luck.

Make it cost a bonus action to Toggle...
So you have flexibility, BUT toggling it is not free, so limit from casting two cantrips in a turn?
Then double cantrip in all subsequent turns.

How can i tell if it is working. Nothing seems to change when i install it using vortex.
