Changes the base game's Initiative rolls from a D4 to a D20. Allowing actual balancing and accurate depictions of stats around Dex, feats and overall builds. True DnD Rolls.

It has been speculation lately that Baldur's Gate 3 is using a D4 for rolling initiative instead of the D20 standard of DnD. I dug into some of the files and did indeed confirm that to be true.
What this mod does;
This mod changes initiative rolls to a D20 instead of a D4 and balances the initiative as it should be. This allows accurate building of Dex, itemization and prevents massive power swings like the "Alert" Feat. (Gaining +5 to initiative when the roll is a D4 is almost a guarantee to go first every combat.) This also prevents unbalanced turn favor for enemies with low Dex unfairly and often going first before players.

People who want true-to-life DnD initiative rolls. People who want balance and accurate depictions of initiative buffs, debuffs and ability score modifiers for their build.

Compatibility;
Works with new and existing saves.
Installation;
1. Extract download. Copy/Move the .pak folder to your Baldurs Gate 3 Mod Folder (ex. AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods)
2. Activate the mod in your Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager
3. File > Save, the Load Order
4. File > Export order to game
5. Enjoy
(Vortex install available but not "supported" by mod creator.)
Uninstall Mod;
1. Inactivate the mod in your Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager
2. File > Save, the Load Order
3. File > Export order to game
