interesting mod but some spell like the spike ground since you cant cancel the concentration so it just going to be there for a long time and if you place it in a certain bad spot well the only through it, is from taking damage.
If anyone is wondering: works. Spot no problems at that moment. You can be hasted, blurred and create fire walls as much as you want o) With endless freecast you are no longer forced to long rest after every battle and can be a real mage!
Would be even more awesome if this was a metamagic feat. Now feels a bit too much of a cheat / game breaking. If I could cast a spell without concentration requirement and pay sorcery points for it... that would be awesome.
I share your thoughts, and I do plan to implement metamagic. However, I created this mod first to assess its feasibility. Please wait just a little longer.
Exactly what I'm looking for. I tried to do it using Toolkit but it doesn't allow for that kind of script modifications (I think). "ModifySpellFlags" doesn't seem to work.
Have you figured out how to implement Metamagic to this or do you plan to do this still? If not, do you mind if I give it a try? Credits for the base code of course to you, if I get it working. Not so familiar with the game coding, but have fiddled with some other games' codes successfully.
Great mod! Just want to double check, is this mod also affecting AI? Also, is there a way to cancel a spell (like firewall) before the automatically end after 10 turns? Thanks!
Hey great mod! I also LOVE the wizard bonus action mod. Is there a way you can make a mod that only removes the concentration of the illusion spells as well as removing the arcane recovery charges to use them as a bonus action?
The illusion school (my favorite) is extremely underwhelming and I'm hoping it can make an illusion wizard somewhat useable.
