My "Darker Eyebrow" files seam to be overwritten by that mod.
If you use my file that makes Astarion's eyebrows darker, and you try to edit him as origin companion via Appearance Edit Mod in the mirror, the second you enter mirror with Astarion the eyebrow colour will be reverted to vanilla, because the mirror version of that mod opens him with it's own default settings. From there you will have to adjust his hair color/eyebrow color and anything else manually again..
I recommend installing Astralities' Hair Color Supplement instead. That mod will give you additional hair/eyebrow color combos options since it has gray/white hair + dark eyebrows colors.
You can still use my face textures normally with any of those mods...
Hi there, would you be willing to make a variation of version 2 that doesn't lighten up the dark circles and redness around his eyes? I love that it makes his skin less crusty, but I'm also a big fan of the tired eyes look, it makes a lot of sense for him.
I'd super appreciate it if you get the chance, but if not then no worries either way, I still love this mod! ❤️
Jayoen It is the eyebrow file that has color codes that do that toning, the toning only affect the bluish veins on his face but that also covers under-eye circles I guess... I recommend Eyebrow file from optional files section, it's called: (Request) Darker eyebrows only - no toning. It doesn't do any other toning on the face, so you wanna use that one instead of the one in the main section ;)
Another thing you can try to do, in addition to using that eyebrow file with no toning, is to go to your your game Data where you copied my files at:
this is the only astarion mod that exists. thank you. i've always wanted a mod that makes SUBTLE changes without turning him into an entirely different person - like having brows a little darker, having laugh lines and skin a little smoother without making him look like a JRPG protagonist. this is perfect
To this day the best Astarion edit. I play with his default textures until the first time he feeds, then I start using this mod to show that he looks healthier, but still himself. <3
I thank you, for making it. <3 I have tried pretty much all Astarion tweaks there are but I always come back to yours. In my opinion, it is the only one that fully retains his character. He is still himself, just healthier and smoother. >:3
I love this mod! It doesn't seem to work for me in 7 though Oops It works. The reshade preset I was trying out was making his skin horrifically blotchy lol
yeah it deff works in Patch 7, glad you figured out what the issue was. yep, some of those reshades have sharpening amped out way too much, which gives characters a lot of skin texture... it's one of the reasons I created this mod.. because I like make sharpening stronger in my game and so this mod offset the effect it had on the skin texture :)
I'm sorry for stupid question but I can't seem to make any of Generated mods work (I tried this one, unique Tav, Gortash), place them as told but nothing shows up. Question, do I need fresh save for them to work? Or anything else?
You're probably not copy/pasting the folder in right location, that's the only reason I can think of the textures not working. read install section again and make sure you're following right steps, dunno otherwise... you dont need new save.
I will not be making .pak mod for this it's really totally unnecessary.. face/hair color textures are such small files and so easy to manually copy paste to Data folder, or delete and remove at any time. :)
I think the issue is that the Data folder isn't as accessible for Mac users who downloaded the game through Steam. The path I have is /Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Baldur's Gate 3. I then arrive at a Baldur's Gate 3 app and a Digital Deluxe folder.
So there are no other subfolders in your Baldur's Gate 3 folder? O_O I am sorry I am totally unfamiliar with macs so I didn't know this. Anyway I didn't even research how to make .pak mods maybe I will look into in in the future.
Finally, it's look like Astarion but closer to his stated age! As everyone else I liked his mature looks - and then comes release version and we found out his true age, that he was nothing but a teenager when he was turned :-O I mean, 39 years old for an elf? He still has 60 years up to his majority. He just can't look like middle-aged man, no matter how many torments he had survives last 200 years. Still all de-age mods make him unrecognizable, so I'm glad to find this one))
hey @Apriley I noticed you uploaded some pics on my mod today thanx. I just wanted to ask are you sure that is 100% my textures? because those eyebrows look really different to me they don't look like my eyebrows in those pics? they are much pointer and go farther out? maybe it's just the angle? :)
Yes, maybe need to notice that I use an Appearance Edit Mod on almost every companion for some subtle changes. For Astarion it was a bit paler skin color (Vampiric 1) and hair color EA Grey 0 (it affects eyebrows too, but color seems close enough ingame) + some eyeliner. But textures all the same. P.S. I don't realized that all my pics use such high-contrast lightening, lol. Brows really seems darker than it should be) Here some unedited Astarion (v1.0) *I don't know what's wrong with dynamic shadows in my game, never mind pixelized hair*
hehe I see I get it, nah I was just curious why he looks different to me in those pics I literally thought its completely different eyebrow shape :)
yeah I noticed that as soon as I go into Appearance Edit mod myself a lot of the toning changes and I can't get the exact original too without applying some changes.. so if I wanna change his makeup I also have to change his brows/hair color a bit too. it's a hassle sometimes but it's a great mod so it's worth it :)

And make sure you follow instructions there and install the files in the right locations, if you put Eyebrows file in the wrong place it won't work.
Enjoy the game and our beautiful elf :) Send in your screenshots! I'd love to see them.
THANX to those who sent in screenshots already, I wish Nexus had a like button :)
Please take a second to endorse a mod if you like it and use it :)

SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Generated\Public\Shared\Assets\Characters\_Models\Elves\ELF_M_NKD\Elf_M_Astarion\Resources
and delete ELF_M_NKD_Head_Astarion_HMVY.DDS file, and leave only the other two in there (NM and CLEA), see if it makes a difference.
