hi i love this mod! i was wondering, if i wanted only my tav to have the full face of freckles then could i use this with unique tav? would i have to rename the file / put it in the unique tav folder?
Hi, I might be wrong but I'm afraid that this wouldn't work. As far as I understand Unique Tav Data in the FACE folder has one dds file for makeup (plus one for dragonborn) and one for tattoos. Those two files contain all makeups and tattoos and use all three channels. I guess freckles could be used as a tattoo but that would require editing the dds file. :(
Adding this just for anyone else stumbling upon this, but this mod does actually work as-is with unique tav. No need to do anything else, just follow the mod instructions and it will work
Can you change the color of freckles? The thing I don't like about the vanilla freckles is that they're grey and look like the Tav was splashed with muddle puddle water after it's dried. Freckles should be shades of brown.
Nice mod, btw. Do you plan on releasing your head preset?
Hi, they turn brownish when you increase the intensity.
Unfortunately, we're only working with one layer and one channel, so I don't think you can change the color much. One possibility that comes to mind is to apply the freckles directly to the skin texture. There you have one channel for redness and another for melanin. The downside here is that you can't adjust the intensity. I hope this helps you.
I currently don't plan on releasing the head preset!
