lmao damn okay, some people are having this issue but not everyone - a friend of mine is using them all totally fine so I'm not gonna touch anything. I recommend rolling back a version since there's genuinely no difference in the versions for bg3.
Ok, I did test 3 older versions and the 3rd works without any complaints fromn Reshade.
In case anyone else has issues: These presets should actualy work with Reshade version 6.3.3.
If you had a newer version before, and want to roll back:
1) Uninstall that version. 2) Find version 6.3.3 by google. There is mirrors that have older versions still listed. 3) Install that version. If Reshade starts whining about unprocessed files. Go to your folder Steam folder, then Steamapps/ Common/ Baldur's Gate 3/ bin folder, delete those files that are marked red in the Reshade panel in the game. 4) Install your desired Presets. You're good to go. ;)
I just want to clarify this to people reading - these reshades do work with 6.5.0. I'm not sure why there is an issue on your end of ReShade, but I have asked other people who are using my reshades and they are all working. 6.5.0 might cause issues with your personal system for whatever reason, but these presets DO work with 6.5.0 on other systems totally fine.
I had the same problem and was able to fix it. This does work on 6.5.0! but the problem is as it says, you are missing some FX files. Most of these add-on effects should've been installed with the Reshade install wizard - but I had to find some of them individually for some reason, which is what caused the problem for me. [It was a first-time Reshade install in my case, so it's possible these add-ons were included in the wizard for previous versions, and that might be why people already using presets are having no issues... and why installing an old version worked for EnielasSong. That's just a wild guess though]
If anyone else has this issue, even after selecting all add-ons on first installation: Check the log tab in Reshade after you see the error (located in the topbar). Copy down the names of the .fx file[s] it says you are missing, then find them via Github and install. I hope this helps someone! :)
Is there any logs reshade makes to check what I'm missing? (not used reshade since rblx embarrassingly) Or if this is intended (during install, didnt deselect any recommended ones) --> linkie
edit: found the log, was missing a DoF setting (yellow text warning, just searched it up)
so theres a lot of options in reshade like tint, smaa, etc. Do we need to turn anything else from the list? or do we just simply input the ini files and choose there and let it be?
I've always had a question about ReShade that I've never understood - Do I have to always copy/paste the shader/textures folder to my install if all the effects are already there? Like do people who make reshades edit those effects themselves or do they just include them in case someone is missing them in their install? This one comes with the folders but most other reshades don't.
Sometimes reshade creators will include ones that don't come with the base reshade install which is what I have done with mine. People will make shaders/texture files on blogs, websites, tumblr, nexus, etc. that aren't included in your download since they're made 3rd party. I have to include what I use or else you won't see the real reshade.
Not sure, I don't know what that is. Most people use ReShade that I know of because it also works well with the Otis_inf camera tools for bg3 with the depth of field add-on. ReShade you can build tons of presets and swap them in and out with filters & effects made by artists.
Your shaders are some of the very best. I return to them again and again! I've captured such beautiful images with them, I can't thank you enough. I can't wait to try the new ones in this collection. Thank you!

They all give me a red message, that says, this peeset uses unknownm effects. Could it be it needs an update?
