About this mod
Had severe July Modathon FOMO, so here is a small mod with a couple of Angelic Scion armor variants, and optional animated wings VFX options.

What Does This Mod Do
This is a small mod that adds:
- A custom pair of boots with the Actualize Wings spell container and a slightly nerfed variant of Celestial Haste.
- Two custom armor variants based on the Angelic Scion outfit
- Five custom dyes with celestial-themed colour schemes
- A variant of Divine Smite with additional visuals that can be used once per short rest
- The Actualize Wings spells let you summon 10 different wing and animation visuals, which grant a small buff to movement speed, jump distance, and prevent falling damage.
Actualize Wings: Important!!
Please note, the wings in this mod are only dumb, animated VFX! They are NOT fully integrated, immersive wings that will react and respond to different actions like entering combat etc. On the plus side, the implementation is very simple and light-weight: it doesn't touch anything in character creation, and is more like a spell effect that grants a visual until you dismiss it. If you are looking for immersive wings, then search Nexus because there are a LOT of brilliant mods available, including many race mods that add integrated wings with lots of different visual styles.

Custom Armor Variants
Compatibility
They are fit for BT1 & 2, body types Elf, Half-Elf, Human, Tiefling. No strong fit, small races, githyanki or dragonborn. Fair warning: I have never "blended" anything in Blender before in my life and had no idea what I was doing. Mostly pulling vertices around in between bouts of screaming and sobbing. I don't think I have the mental fortitude left in me to attempt other types and races just yet.
Where to Find the Armor Crate
It can be bought from the following vendors. The icon looks like a pretty standard wooden crate, but I will update in future to make it more visually distinctive and easier to locate in a treasure table.
- Act 1: Arron the halfing trader in the Druid Grove
- Act 2: The Harper Quartermaster at the Last Light Inn
- Act 3: Popper the Kobold merchant in Rivington Circus
It can also be found in the Tutorial potions chest.
If you cannot find the armor crate on the vendors above, take a Long Rest and check again.
- This mod also supports the AV Item Shipment Framework.
Installing and Uninstalling
Installing this mod follows the status quo for installing almost all BG3 mods. It can be installed at any point in a campaign. Uninstalling is possible, but requires pre-requisite steps in game to erase items, otherwise your Save games will crash on loading. I recommend using Volitio's Mod Uninstaller.
See this article for more information on installing and uninstalling.
Future Plans
No plans other than just polish really, like add some custom icons. This intentionally small mod is derived from another instrument pak I am in the middle of, themed around Celestial Instruments. I decided to pull out some of the visuals I was working on for music performances and put them standalone on some armor for this mod. I might add some more WingFX in future, if there is synergy between this and what I create for the music performance visuals in the WIP project.
Known Issues
Female Dwarf
I have tested the WingFX on all different races, and while there is a bit of variation in where the wings align with respect to shoulders and back sizes, they all "work". With one exception: the female dwarf model. The wings will appear fine, but as soon as you walk or move, it goes crazy! Spins at 90 degrees and back again. I suspect it might have something to do with the WingFX skeleton slot on the female dwarf model, but at this point in time I have no idea how to fix it (or if it's a vanilla game issue that cannot be fixed). It works fine on male dwarves... *shrug*
Armor Clipping
I mean, if it wasn't obvious from my earlier paragraph, I'm very inexperienced with Blender. There is bound to be some clipping issues, and I know there are a couple of places where I distorted the mesh with my amateur "how-does-this-grab-tool-thingy-work-then" approach to fitting armor. That said, I'm not so sensitive that I mind feedback. Quite the opposite, it's how I learn and improve. I just politely ask that you be respectful and constructive, and keep in mind that modders are all at different points on the modding learning curve.
