Update April 16 2025: Works fine on patch 8 as far as I can tell!
Update Sept 16 2024: The newest update includes a fix for the blood in their mouths, as well as cleans up a few things I missed last time around.
Standard Edition
All vampire spawn:
- Eyes changed from the glowing red to Astarion's eye color
- Removed vampire fangs (ie shark teeth)
- Changed color scheme of outfits to similar palette so they all match more closely
- Aurelia - Changed outfit to something more simple, and not a duplicate of Cazador's fit
- Violet - Since her skin tone is nearly identical to the first wood elf tone, I switched to that so the tone was a bit clearer
- Yousen - Swapped his shirt to the one Astarion and Petras wear, cleaned up his face a little, brought out more of the ginger in his hair
- Leon - Gave him a shirt and cleaned up his face
- Also altered his daughter Victoria's clothes to look more in line with where she lived
- Also altered his daughter Victoria's clothes to look more in line with where she lived
- Dalyria - Like with Violet, just picked a skin tone preset similar to her original that comes through a bit clearer
- Nothing else changed on Petras, and I didn't edit Astarion at all
- Gave him a cool cape
- Swapped out Gortash's boots for Ketheric's
- Tweaked outfit colors for more drama
- Added a little scar (to fit with his backstory with Vellioth)
Vanilla Shark Teeth Edition
If you want to keep the shark teeth or use another teeth replacer, you can use this version that alters everything listed above, but leaves the vanilla vampire fangs on. I recommend Astarion's Fangs for the other Spawn by escuisi2 and follow their instructions on installing that. The mods should play nice together as they edit completely different files.
This is my first mod, and while I've tested it and haven't had any problems, there's always room for error.
This should not conflict with any mods unless they directly alter any vampire NPC's appearance. Astarion was not altered at all so this mod can be used alongside anything editing him.
To install:
Install through BG3MM or by placing this in AppData/Local/Larian Studios/Baldur's Gate 3/Mods. The Standard Edition is also available through the official mod manager if that is easier to work with.
Special thanks to MANOLOV02 for building the BG3 Ultimate Tool for Amateur Modders, I was struggling with a lot of the other modding tools but having the visual format was incredibly helpful and I couldn't have made the original version of this mod without them!
