...Thenο»Ώ in the emptiness,ο»Ώ I disassembled a letter from one
of the ancient alphabets, and I leaned on absence. So who am I
after the visitation? A bird, or a passerby amid the symbols
and the memory vendors?...

Another mod for the BG3 July Modathon - this time a dice reskin, which I've never done before! It was a lot more complicated than I was expecting, actually πŸ˜… Which I think I'll take as a life lesson, honestly. Sometimes things that seem simple on the surface can mean much more than they do at first glance. Or something. I don't know! I'm very sleep deprived - I think that might be nerfing my wisdom stat a bit.

...And also my dexterity. We will forgo the melon baller for now - I don't think I can be trusted in a kitchen at the moment, quite frankly!

It is, however, time for the melon icosahedron.

This mod adds a new set of dice to your game, based on watermelons! This actually was meant to be part of a set, but I got a little overwhelmed by making the first one, so I'm leaving it here for now πŸ˜… Maybe I'll make the orange slice dice set of my dreams somewhere down the line, but until then, I thought it'd still be nice for people to have this one.

Should be compatible with other custom dice sets! And I can't imagine it'll conflict with anything else. Let me know if you run into any issues, though, of course!

Install via BG3 Mod Manager.

You'll be able to select the dice by clicking on the icon at the bottom of the screen when you're prompted to make a roll (the one that's a gear inside a d20!), and you should be good to go after that!

...And that's about it, actually! It really is a pretty simple mod, and yet I've managed to ramble a ton about it anyway!

This mod 100% would not have been possible without Anecx's Dice Sprites Generator and tutorial!!!! It was an absolute lifesaver - thank you so much!!!

Also, thank you so much to Aether for helping playtest the mod, and for letting me poke around in the code for her own dice mods to help me understand more about how dice mods work!!

The photo I used for the background of the thumbnail and mod page header can be found here!

Known Issue (kinda):

The colors for the numbers the game uses when adding bonuses to rolls don't quite match the texture I made (mine are tinted slightly green). I am personally trying not to let this bother me, because I really like the texture I made! And I'm not sure if I'd be able to recolor the in-game numbers to match my dice. I might literally be the only person bothered by this, though!

...As always, let me know if you run into any issues, and enjoy!
