I don't think you need permission to post it, since this is a really simple mod only modifies base game files and doesn't use any custom assets. And since yours is a pak it would also definitely be considered a different file.
Not to mention this mod author has been inactive for many months, so there's is no point in watiting for a response. If you still want to, just post it and give credit to the author.
FYI for anyone wondering why this mod doesnt work when installing with vortex its because the file structure is missing the starting data folder. If you create a folder called "Data" and extract the mod into it (so the filepath is Data\Public\Shared\Stats\Generated\Data) the repack it into a zip, you can install it with vortex like any other mod.
I did this, but after installing from the modified zip file with vortex, the game crashed when I tried to load my save. The same thing happened after I uninstalled with vortex and manually placed the mod's text files in the generated/data folder, as told by the mod author. Did either of these work for you?
This^^^^ Using Vortex I still cant figure out if it's supposed to be "Replacer", "Loose" "Engine Injector" or what, been messing around trying to get it to work. Great mod though,
I want to be able to swap items for free. I have both files installed and have tried having one enabled and both enabled, but can't get it to work in game at all. Any help or suggestions?
It's not working for me for some reason :(, still costs an action point. All other mods working fine. I know its probably on my end since no one else has complained about it but not sure what.
Could you try to make a feat version for the free action? Something like +1 ASI, Equip Weapons for free, +1d4 Thrown weapon damage, for instance. It would feel less cheating, but it's something that is 100% needed imo.
Technically, in 5e rules, you already get one free action per turn, to do things like draw a weapon or open/close a door. That seems like it might be hard to implement in here, so I'm cool with unlimited free reequipping.

The mod is very nice for some build !
Thx !
1. Any gear swap as bonus action
2. Free gear swap version
