Hey so I play on xbox and mod support just came in, and I'm wondering how you increase the pickup on xbox like do I have to get past a certain point or?
You should have increased carry weight capacity once you add the mod. I have recently pushed an update to change this for PC but it will need to be reviewed by larian before made available for console players.
Ah okay, so to duplicate the stuff like the "max pickup" etc you've put out an update for it but Larian just needs to review if I'm reading that correctly, nonetheless thank you for your help
No idea why but both this and the other carry weight mod on here completely breaks the game. I can no longer talk to any NPC in the world or in my party, i can no longer fast travel anywhere, and i can not go to or leave the camp/take a long rest.
I see people reporting this for different mods, including two of mine that just add armor to the game. Seems to be a random issue people run into. Might be related to installing mods, but I don't think anything specific about what the mods do are causing it. I'm also seeing people that don't use mods reporting this issue.
So not related to this mod but, I've searched web every way I could think of, nor did I find any UI specific mods here or anywhere.
How/where are people editing the interface to look like that first image? Is it a mod I'm not finding? Is it editable in game in a way I can't figure out? Anyone? T-T
The UI you are seeing in the first image is from an early version of EarlyAccess. If you find mods with images with a diffrent interface in 99% of the time it means that that image was taken during one of the stages of EA. (UI changed during EA and then from EA to full release. That's why there a images with like 3 different versions of UI)
It means the game hasn't loaded the mod MODSETTINGS.LSX (mine is: "\Gamer\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public\modsettings.lsx")
The installation instructions just is a list of keys. Where am I supposed to plug them in? I didn't see anything in the json file to suggest they go there. Thx!
It seems to break after the chat with the Netherbrain, after you go inside the Prism, or at least it did for me. Weight went to negative and characters are all heavily encumbered. Granted I haven't yet gotten out of the Prism so it might fix itself.
I was having the same issue and discovered what the problem was (or what it was for me, at least).
It seems that if you install this mod and load an in-progress save where the character was ALREADY encumbered, they will be locked into that state permanently. Even though the new weight limit is implemented. Not even fully emptying their inventory fixes it.
So you just have to make sure none of your characters are encumbered before installing the mod. Doing that made it work just fine.
I'm assuming Ralter001 did the same as me and went looking for a mod when they got annoyed by being encumbered, installed it, and then loaded the encumbered save file. Don't do that.

1. Do NOT install this mod if you are already encumbered- drop your gear first.

It is live for PC now.
1º C:\Users\Gamer\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods - PUT THE TWO MODS -
ModFixer.pak
CarryWeightExtra.pak
2º YOU´LL NEED THE MOD MANAGER TO ACTIVATE THE MOD - CarryWeightExtra.pak

I would reinstall mods and start a new game to test
An article I found
Thanks for your comment.
I get these comments on most my mods, and seems an issue with the game. Maybe modding support from Larian might help.

I don't know what statuses are applied that might break the mod. Sorry
Im playing without any errors.
