Are you still planning on implementing option/idea #4, various unique bastard swords? Classically, as in 1st edition, there were certain magical swords that only ever appeared as bastard swords, could make for a fun way to make unique versions of those!
Yes this has nothing to do with your alignment. Bastard Swords from earlier versions of DnD and the original Baldur's Gate games were like a middle ground between longsword and great swords. All this does is make the longswords match that to become Bastard Swords, damage and stat wise currently.
Lol not really what I was aiming for, just some may not want a new item added to their game that is needed in order to get the bastard swords and some may not want to replace all longsword. I'm just trying to cater to the different use cases I can think of.
A few changes will be coming soon. For the next release there will be three main file options:
* one that replaces all longsword with bastard swords (damage, names, and descriptions will be updated) * another which adds all bastard swords to the game as their own individual items (aesthetically they will look identical to the longsword counterpart) * then another that will allow you to convert any longsword to a bastard sword and also back to a longsword
These changes are almost complete and should be ready this week.

Still though, cool mod. Always love seeing more actual D&D mechanics brought into BG3.
- split the mod into components to farm downloads
