The underdark Glow preset doesn't work as intendended without AureBuen's New Eye Colors (and blindness for all eyes). You only need the Core for the preset to be fixed. The file Eye color expansion (Core) has to the put before EotB main. The preset is reset every time the game refreshes your character during character creation. That means, when changing your class, head, hairstyle, race, body type, background, abilities etc. If you start your game with the washed out preset it will stay this way. The only fix is to select a vanilla color and then select the color you want to use. The Underdark Glow No Blindness preset has none of these issues. The buggy version of the preset has been archived but if this sounds like you I recommend downloading the no blindness version.
All presets should be working on Patch 7 I am having no issues on my end. Please let me know what preset you are using and show me your EotB load order. If you can, also let me know exactly how it's not working, do you have normal eyes or fully black or white eyes ? Please make sure you are using the preset with compatible heads and patches as well. Thank you
I've just tested that particular preset, and it is showing up normally in my game for me on patch 7. From what you are telling me, your load order for the preset is normal. Is the preset showing up on vanilla head options ? If it is, then you might be using a head that is not compatible, please check compatibility on that end. Patch 7 hasn't affected CC mods and it should work without any necessary changes
If you're still working on this mod, I'd love an eye style that gives tav very large pupils on otherwise normal eyes, as if they are traveling in the dark! Would make underdark more immersive <3
I'm am done adding presets to this mod as I think there's lot of files to go through already but I am working on Volume 2. I admit Underdark doesn't fit the vision I had when I made it and a new version wouldn't go amiss. There's a fine line to thread with bigger pupils as it would make using eye colors useless but it would fit the concept a lot more. Keep an eye out in the next few weeks for Volume 2. If it's not part of the initial release it will be added later 🙂
Any chance of an eye similar to fleetway sonic. Where the eye is just a sclera with a spiral going from the center (where the pupil would be) to the edge, which would be the glowing part of the eye.
Here's what I have loaded in Mod Manager. https://imgur.com/a/WbWmTrL
The issue I'm seeing with the 'Underdark eye glow preset', is, when I load into the Character Creator there is no glow on the eyes and glow won't show up until I click on one of the Flame colors. After that the glow shows up on all eyes that have glow. However, if I then switch heads or hide clothing or switch hair, etc., the glow disappears and wont come back until I select one of the flame colors again. This happens on all the races, except the Dragonborn.
I don't see this issue with your 'Flaming contract' or 'Infernal script' eye presets. I haven't downloaded any others so I can't comment on them.
This is a really cool mod, thank you so much for creating it.
Your load order looks good. This looks like normal behavior for the preset mixed with a game glitch. The eye glow is quite glitchy in CC and can sometimes linger or disapear until you change head preset or class and for now there is no fixing that. As for the preset itself, it is behaving normally. Some of the in game colors don't have any glow and even a glow version of a preset will not glow since there is nothing to activate (For example the elf default eye color is a non glowing color). This can be seen when selecting elf eye colors or other humanoid eye colors. Underdark is also set with some blindness as it's core which makes it behave a little differently from regular eyes without any blindness. If you want more color options for the glow, Astralities has lot of great options that work really well with eyes of the beholder ! Dragonborn eyes also seem to behave differently from the other races, but their default eye option is always glowing. Flaming contract and Infernal scripts are also made in a very different way, which is why they behave differently especially on glowing eyes, but they are very boring on non glowing versions :) You can take a look at the underdark chapter of the video linked in the media page, it shows all of the normal behavior of the preset, including on eye colors that do not have a glow at all. If the preset doesn't behave the same way as in the video, please let me know and I'll recheck the preset itself, for now it seems to be working as intended.
All of these are beautiful but those cat glow eyes are *chef's kiss*. Been using the EotB ones so far and while they also look great, I've always found that from certain angles the glow seems to spread out below the pupil and it's always bothered me. The glow on yours seems so much more tailored to the pupil shape and the detail up close is just stunning! Looks a lot more organic. I also love how they make the fire effect on the flame eyes more subtle. This truly is the perfect eye preset for my fire-themed Durge I didn't know I needed. Thank you so much! You don't know how happy it makes me to see his eyes in cutscenes now, especially the rare close-up shots.
Your comment is making me blush ! I am glad you like the cat glow so much. It is the very first preset I made and I love how it turned out. Sometimes when you look closely it almost looks like the pupils changes shape.
Since this relies upon EotB, is there a load order requirement? i am going to assume that it needs to come after EotB, but thought i'd ask. I've not installed yet. So i realize i could have checked before asking...

Franchement très stylé, les yeux sont magnifiques. Beau travail !
Beautiful work though. Adding it now!
