Is this a backpack mod or a Traveller's Chest(camp chest) mod?

Either one, but the gravity of your sins will weigh heavily upon your shoulders.
      Sorry, I'm dramatic.
Joking aside, it is mostly meant for a Traveller's Chest, because I did not reduce weight in the inventory. The chests themselves have a weight of 1 i think so they aren't heavy, but everything else you put in them will be. If you have a mod that increases carry weight, then you should be all good to carry them!

I have another dumb question that i find no answer to here.

I have the problem that i have a conflict. Sadly i cannot uninstall Autoo Send books to camp, the Mod Uninstaller doesn't show it.

Do the containers have Auto Sort if i keep them in the Inventory?

In this case, that is good. Thank you, so there will be no conflict with other mods that do the same. :D

Would it be possible to make an alternative version or a patch that let's the chests reduce the weight of their content to 0? I used Autosort Containers for that last year and personally would prefer my things neatly sorted and with no weight, rather than utilizing a carry weight mod to have nigh infinite of it.

Would be really dope if that's a thing you could do

I am currently working on another modding project, and I was not originally going to make these chest have the "bag of holding" status on them, but i can always put that on the back burner as a possibility!

I don’t know why ISF won’t let any items appear for me.

But having the console command to spawn the containers should also work.

I actually do not know how it does not show up for you in the mailbox, but if you are trying to do this on a current save, maybe using the console command would be best for you. Otherwise, it will show up in the Tutorial Chest and in Arron's shop in a new save!

I have looked around the entire mod's code, there is nothing that states it should NOT show up in your mailbox! I'm sorry!

Nope i started a new game, reached the camp and it didn't work. Deleted the game and did some trouble shooting. I was at the end of my latin and Aetherpoint couldn't answer it either.

So what i did was, go back to the good old Tutorial chest. :/ Does the latest version of  your containers also work without ISF?

I technically never put anything in the code that says it requires the mailbox. The only thing is that it will spawn in the tutorial chest at the start of the game and it will be sold by Arron. Meaning that it will spawn in the tutorial chest. If you regenerate your tutorial chest in your mailbox, it will show there.
If you are asking if it will automatically show up in your mailbox, for example like Aether's Black Dye, then no it will not do that. It will only show up in the tutorial chest. I thought you meant it was not showing up in the Tutorial Chest that is IN your mailbox! If you reset the Tutorial Chest, then it will show up in the Tutorial Chest that is in your mailbox.

Needs a container to deposit all my crafting-oriented gear and materials (both vanilla alchemical ingredients + adamantium forging + lockpicks/shovels/trap disarm kits/etc -and- mod items/combiners/ingredients... e.g., JWL Crafting FrWk, Belinn's mods, Phalar Aluve music boxes, Deathsong upgrader, yadda yadda).  Too cluttered in Misc or Adventurer Gear, need to segregate.

    Also:
An Accessory bin that includes [among other things] Gloves... but also a separate Glove box?
Hmm...  1st rule of data management is don't introduce duplicates.  Personally, would rather have separate Cloaks, Gloves, etc. instead of a kinda AIO free-for-all.  They use different slots, so prefer to segregate by slot.

    No Instruments?

An accessory bin was included for anything that was not body armour, but at the same time, at a request, I added separate boxes for them, allowing the player to organize them however they see fit!
That way there are multiple options

Yeah, I decided I would just drop the separate bins into the general Accessories as sub-categories.
I drop all the mixed gear into the general bin as I'm prowling around (hoovering gear), and I clean up the Accessories bin every so often by dropping the stuff into their appropriate sub-bucket.  Works for me, so despite my initial confusion I'm good.

Thanks for the feedback & work.

Still needs a Crafting container.  And Instruments.

      Wondering:
If the Ranger bin is sposed to be just arrows, then why not just call it a Quiver?
(Apologies if this is discussed in other posts)

Sadly i can't make ISF work for the life of me. :(

Can i also use the new version of this mod without it?  If not, would it be possible to make a No ISF variant?

Hmm... ISF works fine for me w/ a 900+ mod load order, so wondering what issue(s) you might be having?

Try putting this into your Script Extender Console

      TemplateAddTo("65d1cb2e-bfd2-4f5e-b0a7-a74414d3762d", GetHostCharacter(), 1)

This will add the bag directly to your inventory, and don't forget! Arron has a copy of these bags!

Just asking but does this let you throw your grenades? Because I've used bags bags bags and it's grenade pouch doesn't show the actual grenades in the throw menu, you just throw the pouch

This pouch does NOT let you throw grenades, but then again, I have not even tested to see if that works, so if it does work like that DO let me know (because I will not remove that feature that just sounds funny)
however, I do recommend placing the pouch in your inventory and in your hotbar, so when you want to throw a grenade, you click on the pouch, and select the grenade and click throw!

Sadly, afaik,, that's built into the base game, and would probably need extensive work to make it so you can throw things out of bags. (I, too, would LOVE that feature but I don't think anyone's made it.)

    Hi !!

Just dropped by to thank you for this much-needed mod !! I think the BG3 inventory Management Mods category needs a proper facelift, and thank god for modders like you :D

Quick Question -- Would you be willing to entertain a specific request for different category-based weapons chests'?

I remember a while back there was a bags/chest mod which had like a 'daggers' chest, one for longswords, one for shortswords, one for longbows, shortbows, etc.

Being an impulsive hoarder, I really loved those mods, as I kept all the party members in-charge of different categories of weapons and such :P

Anyway, I just thought I'd make my wish known, so yeah !!

TL;DR -- LOVED Your Mod !!! Could you make some weapons chests pliizzzz :D

I have my own hoarding issues as well (no, they are NOT issues, hoarding in this game is a WAY OF LIFE!)
But, while I do love the idea of making different chests for different types of weapons, I wonder if that will just end up being too many chests XD
However, I do like the idea so I will put it on the idea table for now! Thanks for your input!

I love the idea of this mod. I would use those chests for my camp chest to sort things.

If i may come with a suggestion for more  containers:

      - a chest/ barrel for food, could be named pantry
      - an accessoire box for boots, gloves and helmets

      Could you add that?

Off the top of my head, I don't think that I could. I'm more of a "mess around with simple item mods" level person.

I like your idea, though. Maybe SansHelvetica will take this into consideration.

I originally was making the Armour Chest the only one for all armour, boots, gloves, helmets and even cloaks, BUT I do agree that a chest for the non-body armours would not be a bad idea at all!

As for the chest for food, I usually steal a companion's camp supply pack XD
But again, not a bad idea!

And to answer your question about the weight relief, no it does not im sorry!

I actually made this because I prefer NOT having automatic sorting! But there are a few bag and chest mods with automatic sorting, so take a look at those and see how they work for you!

Yeah, I've had too many probs & general borkage with auto-sorting versions, so that's what brought me here.
Recently ripped out all the auto-sorts and have been re-rationalizing what I need/want & how I want to manage inventory (given my rp proclivities)... testing out, e.g., Nope's Bags and now yours to figger it out (again... I started way back when with Liareth's orig Bags Bags Bags mod, and have been tinkering since).

I tend to org my gear by body slot, so making the Armour container for just body slot, and then separate containers for boots/foot slot, gloves/hand slot, cloaks/neck slot -and- helms/head slot would be ideal, imo.

fwiw, I need a Reliquary/Bone Box/Body Bag for storing the corpses of my fallen enemies, which get used in necromancy spells to raise undead hordes via my multi-classed Dhampir Death Domain Cleric x Dirge Bard x Blackguard x Dread Overlord Warlock (yeah, it's doable with the right XP & leveling mods, lol)

I tested this. The only thing that is going to show up on Arron is the Traveller's Pack. All of the other bags are inside it, so there is minimal clutter.
