I've added the mod using BG3 and I already had ImprovedUI it does not seem to be working and will not show any options to edit eyelashes/ eyebrows in character creation
No mod adds the option to color eyebrows/lashes separately afaik (at least, at this point in time). It's just tied to the hair color. There's another mod that does it with I think 2-4 separate of the same hair color: one does all 3 the same, one does darker lashes, one darker brows, and finally darker brows and lashes.
I actually like the slight ting on the lips reminds of Cecil from FF4, my only issue is it makes their penis green also XD But I know thats not your fault. Great mod
Hello! Thank you sooo much for the eyelashes! And I love the paler pallid colours, especially with the veins, looks sickly and very cool. I'm wondering if I could make a request? Could you possibly make the two pale-est skins have a purple undertone instead of green? Purple bags under eyes, purple shading, purple veins, etc. I want my little baby dark urge to look like she hasn't slept in 5 years lol <3
I second this (of course as time and energy permit) since I'm trying to make a corpse-like undead character and have been having trouble with the basegame skins.
Does anyone know if the lashes' colours will be re-introduced in the future? I am a bit too sick to learn to use the mod manager right now, and while I will most probably use this mod, I would love to know if there is any future plans/updates on if Larian will restore what was, otherwise, already in the game. I am a bit bummed out, in all honesty, with how much the full game deviates to how it used to be (feeling sick and getting nightmares being removed for example), the lashes are yet another thorn to the heart.
It will likely be a bit of a wait so I wouldn't count on Larian doing that unless it rolls out in the next patch. BUT, the mod manager has zero learning curve, it's insanely easy for even my dumb barely-has-one-brain-cell ass.
All you need to set up is install the mod manager exe
Then install the mod fixer that is necessary so mods will work with the game (the mod fixer, you just open the zip/rar file, and drag and drop the .pak file into the newly created Mods folder).
Then open the mod manager, click file > import mod, select the mod (zip/rar) file from wherever it downloaded to (for me, my downloads folder).
The mod will show up on the right hand panel, then all you do is drag and drop it on the left side
Now hit file > exportorder to game.
That's it! For the mod manager, it literally auto-detects your game file. I didn't have to point it anywhere, so it's easier than even the classic simple mod managers we are used to.
All you really even need to do is just read the description on the mod page because SOME mods just want to be dragged and dropped into a specific folder, but most use the mod manager no problem, like this one.
I made a little guide for dummies like me so hopefully this makes it stupid easy for you! It takes like 3 seconds to install a mod haha. It's probably the easiest MM I've ever used.
Thank you for all the information! I ended up looking up mod information and finding someone that illustrated it as well and ended up installing the manager already, but I by far still prefer just installing manually (drag and drop into the Data folder, usually in the Generated folder afterwards). I am a bit out of focus so I hope I am making sense, I really appreciate the time you put into the information! I will save it if it's ok so I may see it again in case I forget and have uninstalled the manager in the future :3
A shame for the lashes colours, I can understand if they removed them because they were a bit confusing or cluttering around, but there must have been better options. NPCs still have (drow NPCs, for example) lashes that match their hair, and while I never cared before, I have started to appreciate the little details, and they remove it right as I do. It is such a shame. For those reading this and wondering, this mod works wonders and, though I found it at first a bit unnecessary, it really does make a difference to have the lashes and eyebrows slightly darker (greyer instead of white). And for anyone wondering if they pop out too much, I think they are pretty realistic to how I have seen light lashes act in real life from people that do sport them, so while they might be a bit "too bright" in certain lights, that is how they usually are realistically (the woman I know that has them paints them black for that reason).
And thank you one more for the information DefconDelta666 ! :D
Yaaay! Hey sometimes manual is just easier. Some of the mods I like to use the MM for due to load order and whatnot / makes it a bit easier for me to keep track of certain things but tbh the manual option is pretty darn simple. I'm super visual (and borderline dumb as f*#@) so I like to make guides for people like me in case they need them. :D
is it possible you can make the white eyebrow version with black eyelashes cause the white eyelashes conflict with faces of faerun mod. like white eyelashes just flicker its really distracting. They work for other face mods so it's probably that mod but still i would appreciate black lashes for the white brows. thanks !
