boots and gauntlets not appearing in Ketheric's chest, I'd think this was because I installed in the middle of a playthrough, except the cloak dropped from the mimic in Isobel's room, Kinda stuck because I don't really want to play ahead too much with my current playthrough until I can find out how to get them
The passive "Power beyond" from the Reaper's Crown adds a "Not found" passive to the corpses that I think it should be hidden? The ability work fine though, but maybe the mod needs an update? I end up using Reaper's path almost on every of my runs, I would love to get an update if only to clean up what might have be broken by the base game updates.
I tested it and if you add the item UIDs to an Equipment.txt file (such as for mods like this one) with a new equipment entry titled "MOO_Ketheric", he spawns with all of them on his person, which imo makes it more immersive, so for my own personal installation I have done this and removed the items from spawning at the chests. Works really well! And yes, he does appear to benefit from the equipment's bonuses, or at least seems to as the passive text for when he's next to a corpose kicks in, so this could be a way to up the challenge level of his fight too.
Unfortunately this only works for a new playthrough, unless, potentially, you're early enough that the game hasn't spawned him in yet though I haven't tested that yet.
For reference, here's what I added to my Equipment.txt:
Do you know by any chance does game spawn Ketheric on new save or at the beginning of Act 2 ? Bc im afraid if i have to remove this mod at early point it will break my game.
this mod seems fantastic but I am also having the issue where the items in Ketheric's chest do not spawn. I would really love to use this mod but it is unfortunate that the gloves and boots are the ones that don't spawn.
For some reason the Eyebite spell on the Reaper's Crown isn't limited to a long or short rest, which both is clearly not intentional and makes the crown way overpowered atm. If I can figure out how to tweak it I'll post it here.
Out of curiosity: for the way the game works, does Ketheric himself benefits from these bonuses before you loot his stuff? Or do NPCs simply have set values and they remain unaffected by their own equipment?
this mod is awesome, and i really appreciate you doing it, that being said, if it wouldnt be too much trouble, could you add a version that adds the whole set to thorm himself, i like the current version, but it kinda feels like scrounging for his spare pieces rather then the one and only
Not possible with my current skillset, sadly. Ketheric doesn't have a treasure table (the loot you get from him is seemingly hardcoded) so the only way to have him specifically give you the gear would be through Script Extender. The current implementation was my compromise, since I didn't feel like making this mod dependent on SE and I didn't want to put it all in the tutorial chest.
Hey there, I'm unsure if it is useful or not but there actually is an equipment entry for Ketheric listed as "MOO_Ketheric" under "...GustavDev\Stats\Generated\Equipment.txt". In my experience, the content of these "Equipment.txt" files usually does effect the loot of NPC's.

For reference, here's what I added to my Equipment.txt:
new equipment "MOO_Ketheric"
add initialweaponset "Melee"
add equipmentgroup
add equipment entry "MAG_Ketheric_Warhammer"
add equipmentgroup
add equipment entry "MOO_Ketheric_Armor"
add equipmentgroup
add equipment entry "MAG_Ketheric_Shield"
add equipmentgroup
add equipment entry "ETH_KethericCirclet"
add equipmentgroup
add equipment entry "ETH_KethericGloves"
add equipmentgroup
add equipment entry "ETH_KethericBoots"
add equipmentgroup
add equipment entry "ETH_KethericCloak"
and I removed TreasureTable.txt from this mod and repacked it with the BG3 Modder's Multitool.
or is it already compatible with patch 7
However the Gauntlets and Boots were not to be seen.
I did however find the Mantle in Isobels Mimic Chest as well as the updated Hammer and Shield of off Ketheric corpse.
Unsure why some items appeared and other didn't. Mod was applied before beginning the playthrough.
Or do NPCs simply have set values and they remain unaffected by their own equipment?
Yes, it works. You can loot all items from this entry.
