Baldur's Gate 3

5.0 progress:

Don't expect this anytime soon, but I did start progress on this. 


Death Knight progress:

  • A Hell Knight, perhaps with some Warlock Invocations. I'm thinking some elemental spells inspired by the different hells, but nothing solid yet. 
  • Custom starting equipment. Will be added when I figure out why everything but the boots are invisible.
  • I'm perpetually tweaking VFX and SFX until I'm satisfied. You may or may not find that a spell looks totally different after an update. 
  • War Caster patch (wesslen's version). Planning on adding compatibility for the custom spells in this mod but that's a ways off. Probably won't add until everything is done.
  • Releasing new spells as a separate mod. It's been requested a few times, but I won't do it until I'm 100% satisfied with how the spells work and there aren't any bugs left so don't count on it anytime soon.

    Any chance a compressed blackguard mod of lvl 1-20 features into levels 1-12 instead? I want as much abilities I can take multiclassing into this class while necromancy is my main class. Maybe 12 levels of DO necromancer and 8 from Blackguard

    I'm happy to see you went back to focus on the Durge Blood Knight.

    Do you plan to make it more melee or range focus? Or even hybrid?

      I'm very bad about flip flopping around on different projects haha. It's about 90% done, though, so it will actually be the next one. I just have VFX and some icons to do, and some little touch ups here and there I'm sure. I would say more melee. I don't think I'll really do anything specifically ranged.

    May I suggest a shadow wizard\witch\warlock class mod? A full caster shadow mage would be amazing. I'm trying to bring my dnd character to life in this game but there currently aren't any mods that are purely shadow magic based with a complete list of shadow spells. This is just an idea for any future mods you might want to do, you don't have to take my idea and make it of course! I shall leave it up to you after all. But thanks anyways and I would like to try out any future mods you make regardless. :)

    Maybe you could add another fighting style to give you Cantrips, if you want to lean into your magic a bit more? Kinda like the Blessed Warrior fighting style from 5e. Maybe the Cursed Warrior or something, there are some really fun Cantrips on the spelllists that you can’t take advantage of

    I think a bhalal blood mage could be very fun, maybe a more focused spell casting build, able to get spell slots back, or free casts with some sort of blood interaction? Like crits or damage thresholds (no idea how it would work but just an idea)


    the only big distinct thing I think would work great for a necromancer, is more small, or powerful summons. Maybe able to use different spell slots for different elemental/ damage type undead or something of the like? Poison skeletal archers, something like the necromites or something.

    hellknight could be interesting, maybe getting a demonic familiar, or upgradable special weapon

    A Bhaal-based Blood mage would be really cool.

    My suggestion would be a frost archer. Using the bow as their way to release their frost magic. Or just a Frost based mage would be cool.

    Death knight aka necromancer sub could be based on a myrkul (lord of bones). Bones, skeletons etc

    I would be in favor of something Frost based ,potentially a frost based/necromacy based knight that is more caster oriented and less martial. Still in the tick of things frontline but the casting is melee oriented meaning cone attacks and such. I am probably in the minority in favor of this though but wanted to suggest anyway.
