This picture pack pays tribute to many of my long-time favorite community pictures and some additions I gathered over the decades to fill in the gaps. All pictures are based on existing work for which AI was used to provide higher levels of detail than ever before. Knowing of the current controversy around it, I have reached out to all original creators where possible to ask for permission before release. The aim was to blend in with the artistic style of BG1 portraits while preserving the character of the original art works. I hope that many of you will recognize at least some characters but also find some valuable new additions.

Current statistics: 22 pictures released total (including 2 BG1 originals and a random AI Xmas surprise which was to good to turn down)
Approved - 11 pictures from 4 artists
Pending but released - 6 pictures from 4 artists
Pending but not released - 8 pictures from at least 5 artists
No consent, not released - 1 picture from 1 artist
I fully respect and enact the decision of all artists, however, it turned out to be difficult if not impossible to reach out and actually get a replay in some cases. My current position on this is that artists who have apparently vanished for over a decade or originally released the pictures to the BG community would hopefully be happy to see their work live on up to this date. I would appreciate it deeply if anyone could help to identify the unknown authors or get a, be it positive or negative, response from any of the pending artist.
-=Installation=-
Download and un-zip in your game's data folder (typically located in documents) where also the save games are stored. All pictures shall got into a folder called "portraits". To uninstall simply delete the picture in question.
