There are no separate bindings for Grimoire abilities in the options, because someone decided it will be OK to hardcode those to the same keys as quick ability slots. Well, it's not OK as those are different actions. Plus, on PC we don't even need additional modifiers - we have enough keys to assign directly.

This mod allows you to assign keys for direct Grimoire casting (they still work if you hold right mouse button in case you want to take a closer look).

Note that the mod is NOT allowing to cast Grimoire magic without Grimoire equipped! It's NOT a cheat!

Requires r457 Mod Loader.

To install unpack the zip file and put r457GrimoireCasting.pak/ucas/utoc (three files) into your "[Path To Avowed]\Alabama\Content\Paks\~mods" folder.

Find your Engine.ini, it should be at one of these locations:
C:\Users\[YOUR WIN USER NAME]\AppData\Local\Alabama\Saved\Config\Windows\ (Steam)
C:\Users\[YOUR WIN USER NAME]\AppData\Local\Alabama\Saved\Config\WinGDK\ (Microsoft Store)

[YOUR WIN USER NAME] is your actual windows user name.

Open Engine.ini with notepad. Open r457GrimoireCasting.Engine.ini.txt and copy all the lines from there to the end of your Engine.ini. Save. Close. Launch the game. If everything was done correctly, you will see r457GrimoireCasting_Actor under the spawned mods list at the top right corner of the screen during shader compilation.

To set up the keys exit the game, open your Engine.ini with notepad and edit Ability0Key, Ability1Key, Ability2Key, and Ability3Key parameters. Save. Close. Launch the game.
