have people found this to work with gamepass version? I've pointed it to the appropriate folder with gamelauncger.exe and avowed.exe and installed mods but not seeming to work. they work when installed manually. if anyone has tips that's be great
Then there is something wrong with your directory cause myself and others have been using it with no issues reported so far. Verify it installs to the right place
content/paks/~mods/
also make sure the actual mod is activated in game. You can verify that by going to data in the folders tab and checking the directory there.
I like and use MO2 for Skyrim, KCD etc. but not a pro.
So, I just pop the file in the place you've listed and then when I add the game via MO2 it'll be set up with the correct directories etc. to load into etc.?
Hey sorry for the late reply busy working on another mod. Yes when you open add new instance and choose portable or global you should be able to choose the game from the list and if not just choose the executable from the list, afterwards you just go through the prompts and you should be good to go!
I personally just enjoy the simplicity of using MO2 it's an easier to read interface and everything is easy to understand for the most part. The only benefit is vortex by default has support for putting files where they need to go even if the directory is messed up wheres with this there is a simple data checker to make sure the contents of the folders are valid and if not you will have to create the directories during the install but most modders these days know this and try and make the files more user friendly for vortex and MO2

Even though this plugin allows the install of mods, it does not actually load them when launching Avowed with MO2.

I have limited experience with MO2, really just with Baldur's Gate
