Hey, first and most important: This reshade is awesome.
One question: Is it possible to permanently disable cinematic borders? For me it's annoying :) No offense, please don't get me wrong :) Just asking if it's maybe somewhere in the files that I can delete it. I don't want to just "try and error" any accidently mess up everything.
I think someone have to explain photorealism! I appreciate you trying to make the game look better but putting a blue tint over the screen does not make it photorealistic. I suggest you search color values and chroma to achieve natural color balance without ever using any blue tint. One of the first things you learn when calibrating a screen is to get rid of the blue gamma value and to balance RGB and white balance. Just a tip :)
That's not all they did. I've messed with reshade a lot and I can tell from these images that hdr or some form of shadow setting is being used to make the shadows darker (Most likely HDR). Seems like sharpening was used as well, possibly even a few other small settings that dont really do much. Color correction could have been used but anything else other than what I listed doesn't without knowledge of what was used look like it helped any. I could be wrong but this is just off eye level.
As far as how it looks? Some of the images look really good and definitely better than vanilla, others not so much. But this is far from the worst reshade I have seen for a game.
I definitely think there is need of tweaking so the shadows blend better as how it currently is, it causes quality to be lost by too much darkening.
May be you tried something wrong or else you already overwrite some effects which means you replaced my files with the existing Reshade. Because it is working for all. Check this because this issue is from your side...
I am working on it bro but the fact is HDR is not allowing may effects as like the normal one... Means, some effects make the visuals greater but when HDR on it makes those effects as darker.
Actually I am using UHD 4K TV as my monitor. So, I created this preset with my monitor with HDR off (because many people use monitor without HDR or they will use budget monitor). If I am not wrong could you please check it again by turning of HDR in your monitor. Try to uninstall older reshade completely and then copy+paste my preset files to the game directory and try again.
it works perfectly and looks amazing with no HDR; but I would like to keep the hdr on :( can u make a version in order to keep the HDR on? Thank You man :)
Copy and paste my files to game root directory. It has my custom Reshade effects. So, no need to install Reshade. Just copy & Paste and then play the game...
Looks amazing. Definitely my favorite reshade. However, it's causing black bars on the left and right on my ultrawide screen (3440x1440p)
EDIT: Tried the Numpad - that others have mentioned. Much better now. Is there a way to manually open the shader menu. I find that the black bars come back after every cutscene and I'd rather they just stay gone.

Ultrawide Cutscene Fix - Remove Black Bars
Disable Cinematic border → Numpad -
