Hello great mod ! my game turn good with em. but my reflection are gone and light ambiant too.. wierd I send you comparaison shot can you make à comparaison shot too ? for see if its similar to me
About ambient. The cause is not about AO. I was disable Tonemapper Film, the picture has become brighter and more detailed. I also reduce Skylight Multiplier to 0.6 and Tonemapper Gamma to 92.5% for compensate of darker colours loss.
About Reflection. In my opinion, the reflection system in the game is much redundant. The main purpose of the my mod to make the graphic more smoother, not sharpen.
Please tell me, what I can to improve in my mod, and I will be try to do it.
Please notice. Some graphics variables (Shadow Resolution, Reflection Quality, Motion Blur Quality, Bloom Quality and some others) has locked for edition. (Have read only status)
Every value I've added is 100% working and verified through the console.
As much as I support people's work on here, would you be so kind to put the lines you edited into the description? I don't want to make mods folder and I like to tweak my engine.ini myself, just wanted to see what you've changed and what I could use or see what I already have. Thanks.
You can unpack his mod with unreal engine unpacker (tuto on google) to see for yourself, I did it and it's not a classic engine.ini
Btw I can give you mine with few commands if you want and its making the job well :
[SystemSettings] r.ScreenPercentage=133 (Only if you have pixelised textures like me and have issues with increase in-game resolution / 200 for 4k)
[/Script/Engine.RendererSettings] r.SSGI.Enable=1 r.SSGI.Quality=3 (You can try "2" if you want a little bit more performance) r.Color.Min=0.001 r.Tonemapper_Gamma=1.5 ( Without the "_" ) r.Tonemapper_Film=1 ( Without the "_" ) r.Tonemapper.Quality=5 r.Tonemapper.GrainQuantization=1
r.TemporalAA.Algorithm=0 (Really important one but it seems that its not working through the ini for me so I need to use it with in-game console)
r.BloomQuality=5 (Makes lights a little bit more glowing / same as above, seems to not working through the ini)
I wanted try these lines on console, but I can't even open the console with "(tilde) button. How you open it? (Also I tried Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker found by googling, it said console not available). Any help appreciated.
I was using the mod for all of the Valvilov complex without problems, but for some reason the mod seems to break shadows up on the surface once you get out of the Vavilov complex. Any shadow you go into is so dark you can't see anything at all. I had to use a flashlight mod plus the scanner view to be able to see anything. Uninstalling the mod fixed the problem.
Ok, everyone - it looks like they're still around as they logged in this May.
Hey @endouser, thank-you so much for putting out what you did provide - I know life is probably really busy, but could you please release the updated version if you're available? It looks amazing! :)
Yep don't know why tho, my tales of arise mods are not in "mods" folder but those for hogwarts legacy are (btw I just wanted to make some comparison screenshots but figured out that the mod doesn't work for me, I'll try it outside of mods folder to see if it works like that)
bahaha, just use win + shift + s to take a screenshot and then remove the mod and take a screenshot again at the same place, I'm curious to know if its working for you
Thank you for the mod, you seem to be doing great work and asking for feedback like you have been in the comments is very good. Keep up the great work!
