Note: This mod does not affect weapon upgrades. If there is a desire for me to go for a second pass at the mod that doesn't buff the damage output as much initially but ends up buffing it more by the time you have all the upgrades, leave a comment. If I get enough feedback I'll go back and see about updating the mod to be more full featured.
Ended up going ahead with this, please note that in the original file the shotgun was buffed more and that is no longer the case in 1.2 as the fact that weapon upgrades now scale with the damage increase negates the need for the shotgun to be buffed in that way.
The vanilla files have changed drastically. Both of them are half the size of what they used to be. Lots of entries have been shifted around so I can't really be bothered to compare them manually but I bet this mod is outdated.
This only applies to the player, depending on the difficulty you set, I don't really see the need to buff enemy damage. If I buffed enemies at the values I buffed the weapons of the player, you'd likely die to most things in 1 or 2 hits.
It does not, due to the prevalence of melee weapons I figured it was unnecessary, I can push an update for each file that boosts the unarmed damage if you would like.
Are you running a legitimate copy of the game? I went over this quite a bit shortly after release that I wasn't going to update the mod to support the leaked dev build of the game. If you're running a legit copy, submit a bug report here with a crash log and I'll get started on updating the mod. Also are you running any other mods?
You may need to reinstall the mod after the patch but it should still be compatible. If there are compatibility issues, I encourage people to update me on why and what changes need to be made.
Sounds awesome, the first thing I thought watching some pre purchase gameplay was the weapons looked pretty lame/nerfed. And I was right; once I got into playing last night.

1.5x is probably going to be a little less overtuned, version 1.0 of this mod was 2.0x with no weapon upgrade scaling which was made with the hard mode in mind. so I would say 1.5x for easy and medium, 2.0x for hard.

Medium feels a bit too hard, especially with a Controller.
