Description: New ships with approximately 10-15% more capability plus buffs than the default 3 series ships.

Installation
============
Extract the aem ships.rar to the ships folder in the game directory.
Default is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Astrox Imperium\Astrox Imperium_Data\MOD\ships

The ships will appear at random station shipyards over time.

If you want them right away, you will also have to edit your save game file(s).
These files are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Astrox Imperium\Astrox Imperium_Data\MOD\saves\your pilots name
Be sure to be docked in a sation before you attempt to edit your save files.

Use a text editor to modify the files below:

Find and open player_data.txt
Locate the Player;station line.
Make a note of the sector_X_station_X numbers.

Open the stations folder.
Find and open the matching sector_X_station_X.txt file.
Under the Hangar section, add the following lines at the end of the string. Be sure to increment the ship numbers.

For example:
SHIP;13;1.41;ship_data_(aem_escort_01).txt
SHIP;14;1.58;ship_data_(aem_utility_01).txt
SHIP;15;1.17;ship_data_(aem_frigate_01).txt
SHIP;16;1.41;ship_data_(aem_cruiser_01).txt
SHIP;17;0.93;ship_data_(aem_carrier_01).txt
SHIP;18;1.58;ship_data_(aem_destroyer_01).txt
SHIP;19;0.81;ship_data_(aem_battlecruiser_01).txt
SHIP;20;0.77;ship_data_(aem_dreadnaught_01).txt

Close and save the file.

When you start the game, the ships will appear in the station shipyard where you are docked.
