Could you make the same "silent modification" with the "humming/cosmic" music/sound near gateway chambers? (the 6 purple teleporters on the surface of planets) I like building my bases in/next_to them (and use instant teleportation anywhere! ;-) ) but the constant sound/music of that is getting on my nerve! X'D Thankx in advance for saving our brains! :-P
Iv moved on from the game and deinstalled the game, sorry. There is a post on how i edited the audio files found here https://www.nexusmods.com/astroneer/articles/8

No Prob! Thank you for the infos! (to do it myself eventually)
I discovered that the "chanting noise" of the gateway chambers is regarded by the game as "music"; Adjusting the slider for that in the option menu (i don't care for sporadic music in the game!) did the trick easily! \o/
These things are very useful but very annoying. Now they are just very useful. Thanks for the mod, endorsed.
EDIT: is it possible to make something similar with a portable oxygenator? It would be better to make it much quiter but not completely silent because it is important to know when it does/doesn't working.
