I'm posting this because some people come in here and say it's not working. Read all the posts, follow all instructions, and make sure you have the requirements to use dxvk. Don't just install it and expect it to work.
Hey, so I followed the guide and for some reason my game is incredibly bright now. I've not touched my brightness settings at all but being outside in game is unplayably bright. Any idea if any of these settings could be causing this?
the only thing who changed for me is i have much more fps but i still have some LOD issue edit: doesnt change anything even with the latest dxvk version
Sadly the file that comes with the mod takes over reshade and i tried looking for a fix for it, and after trying the fix the game constantly crashes on startup and doesn't run. had to reinstall the entire game because verifying the files didn't work :(
So after installing for the first time the game jumped onto my second (1080p/165Hz) monitor instead of my primary (4k60fps) that I normally play on. It had a lower resolution/ratio/frame rate initially and for some reason when I increased these it jumped back onto my primary monitor but still with 1080p capped.
I had the same issue, its related to the 2 files d3d11.dll and dxgi.dll. If you remove these then game runs. Not sure how these two files have been written but they're whats making the game freeze on start up logo
i found the "OpenCL™, OpenGL®, and Vulkan® Compatibility Pack" from microsoft store was causing the problem the game worked fine after i uninstalled it
download the latest DXVK dlls from the official repo: https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases Extract the d3d11.dll and dxgi.dll files from the x32 folder of the downloaded file, and replace the ones you downloaded from this mod.
