https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02FnRcUdChk&t=537sCould you tell me what settings you used in this video? makes the night really look like night and with these fogs
By settings do you mean in-game settings or settings for the Reshade presets? The Night Gaslight presets were created for this video specifically. The video starts with Night Gaslight No Glow then moves to Night Gaslight. Both presets add fog. At the timestamp in your link I'm using the regular Night Gaslight, which adds a yellow glow on top of the fog. I've written about the in-game settings in the mod-description already (AA set to FXAA, Bloom off, Brightness 6). The Reshade preset will still not look identical to the video, because the video is colour-graded. I actually increased the brightness/contrast in the colour-grade though.
The one extra thing I haven't mentioned is how I used ACUFixes. There are weather settings in the mod. I set the cloudiness and wetness of the environment to max. These never happen in the vanilla game and actually do make the sky and ground look darker.
its saying cobramaskfx failed to compile and when i hover over it it says CobraUtility (17, 5), preprosessor error: COBRA_UTL_MODE not defined, could u help? besides that i love these presets
Are you using the shaders I've included in the one of the downloads or did you get it through the Reshade installer? I would suggest reinstalling the Cobra shader collection or downloading the latest versions from github: https://github.com/LordKobra/CobraFX/tree/master
Thank you man! I started using Reshade because I didn't like how night looked in ACU and there weren't any presets around that made night actually look dark. I'm glad you like it. I need to look into RTGI, I've never used it but it looks amazing.
