The latest version of the game removes DLC access and the mod is also incompatible, so I recommend you go back to the previous game version in order to use the mod using the Old compatible exes for both Ubisoft Connect and Steam in the Files Tab.

Open Steam
Press Win Key + R Key (if on Windows)
Type in steam://nav/console and press Enter
In the Steam console, input the following commands:
download_depot 201870 201871 3788743185036498953

Wait for confirmation that the files have downloaded
Locate the downloaded files in your Steam directory (e.g., SteamLibrary\steamapps\content\app_201870)
Copy the files from both folders
Paste the copied files into your AC Revelations directory
Replace any conflicting files when prompted
Delete systemdetection.dll from the AC Revelations directory to fix flashing issues
Run the game through Steam (should be fine even while Online)
Note that future patches may require repeating these steps if issues persist

For people who are using Pirate version;(I don't even know why you didn't purchased this game back in 2018 or sometime around that since this game is older than my grandmother)
First of all most of you probably using the DODI version, (if not then I don't know the solution) you have to use the Ubisoft version of the exe file. Simple as that, then you're good to go. If you made the crack using the Skidrow version or not, it doesn't even matter. Read it again, you have to use the Ubisoft version, not steam.

Ever since downloading and replacing the file, the game is completely unresponsive in the main menu, kb&m both not working at all, do you know what could be causing this? definitely did the installation correct and replaced the uplay file.
Edit: Had to reboot Ubisoft and Steam fully for it to work. not sure why replacing the file caused it but oh well
In case you're having trouble with your Steam or Uplay version of the game but really want to play with the mod, you can just download the last version of ACR from torrents. It works perfectly fine and you don't need to use the old compatible exes. But I'd recommend the steam rip anyway, since i only tested this version.
ive done all the steps. i have ds4windows downloaded and the old exe. But after i replace the exe the game no longer detects a controller no matter what i do.
The enabled mod works (all functions) but Parkour Mode when pressing RS crashes my game. I followed all of the installation instructions and use the Ubisoft Connect launcher, not the new Steam version.
Edit: I heard you have to replace the exe, but how would you specifically do this without the Steam version? Edit 2: Nevermind, I figured it out and I cannot delete this comment for some reason so you can ignore it.
I don't understand why you locked your stickies but the download_depot command didn't work. Everything was downloaded and I successfully copied and replaced the game files but it's still force-launching Ubisoft Connect
Edit: Okay, not only that, but the game will no longer launch properly and just repeats the "Inspired by historical events..." screen over. and over. and over. Infinitely.
The stickies are meant to be for information, not replies, so you arent meant to reply to that, its not like I locked the post section itself, so you can still leave questions and ask it here like you did. Steam versions had an update where it made the mod incompatible and requires the previous version which was what the stickied comments is for. I own the Ubisoft version of the game, which is what the mod is made for and still works, so I cant really help you personally.
The general idea is that you need the old .exe version which is compatible, hence downgrading to the previous version for the mod to work, which also gives you access again to DLC if you own it. You can see the full more detailed steps on how to do that here
I'm starting to think that the Ubi Connect forcing a beta client on me may be making my game crash when this table is active, bc even tho i follow the guide in proper steps i get a crash after a couple seconds, even before i can start freerunning
1. open ACR 2. load in my save (rn after Ahmed and Sulejman met with Tarik) 3. open the Table 4. once it attaches to ACRSP i go back into the game, press R, then G and try to start freerunning toward a wall 5. game fucken crashes
edit: it could also be like that bc I bought it on Steam, and it also makes me unable to mod the savefile to get the gold edition, but it's probably unrelated
Hmm, the steps sounds correct, once it attaches to ACRSP, instead of going back ingame first, try press R to see if all the red entries gets activated correctly first, and then go back ingame and try parkour.
It could be the steam version, especially since they updated ACB/ACR a bit back (I'm assuming is to force the ubisoft client situation you are talking about), but then again I dont have it on Steam so I cant say for sure. Maybe try downloading the latest version of the mod again and retry the steps if it still doesnt work.
Dude, I have the same problem (I'm also on Steam & using the Ubi Beta) for both ACB & ACR. Albeit, I got it to work on one of the previous mod versions for a week or two, but one day, it just stopped working for me. I'm probably just messing up a step. I'm going to mess around with things and see if I can't get it to work again. If I find something, I'll post it under here.
Tbh it could most likely be that you are right and the mod is incompatible with the steam version. Since they actually updated the game back on 26 March, which probably broke it. There was an update for Ubi ver of ACB then too which broke the table, and I updated it. Maybe it's simply just not compatible with Steam version, Can either of you contact me on Discord with username henrypdt, it would be good to actually see the process, and determine whether it is indeed due to Steam version.
Same here, it's freeform that can't be checked out. As far as I can remember, everything else is checked. I say "remembered" because I won't be of any help with this one. Something came up irl, and the next few weeks are going to be BUSSSSYYY. Gonna be away for a while.
Hmm, according to Steam forums, the update also removed the DLC contents and some other things. If the mod works on the previous version, then maybe you can try the solution here where you download the older version of the game and put it to offline mode/turn off its automatic update so that it doesnt update..
Works perfectly now. I never even knew the game updated. Thanks for pointing out a fix! Unfortunately, I won't be able to mess with this until I'm back from my trip. Oh well.
edit: I was rereading description of the mod. You may need to change KBM's input instructions for Manual horse flip (says LT only), but I was wondering how to only use superhop when I use the input. I prefer to use it to jump on beams, but everytime I turn it on in the options in the table, I superhop on everything. Similarly, that seems to happen with any green marked checkbox.
Thanks for pointing out the typo in for the KBM keybinds, its been fixed. You are not supposed to tick the Active Box on the outside for superhop/green-coded features, ofc if you tick it, that means you always Enable it, hence you superhop everywhere.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the help! Just had to give it a thorough reread. I always have trouble absorbing all the information some mod pages have that my brain melts before I play the mod. I normally end up speed reading or skimming because of it, but there's just some things you shouldn't rush.
