It doesn't work for me. When I did the instructions, my game crashed. I saw that the number of the data file is different from the one inside the forge file so I changed the digit to match it but it's still no use. What else should I do?
after unpack the file, dont forget to delete the "extracted" folder, this would prevent multiple same files from being repacked over time. if you already know this. maybe you forget to delete the original "gamebostsraps"
I'm sorry but when I repack my forge file, my Anvil Toolkit says it can't locate the destination or something like that when I deleted the "Extracted" Folder, and I had deleted the original "Gamebootstraps". Could you please tell me what you did step by step?
1. Add your original dataPC.forge into the game folder 2. Make sure there is no "extracted" folder yet before you open anvil (fyi: anviltool works by serializing packed .data within the .forge into your system) 3. Open anvil, select AC Revelations then locate the single player 4. It should show you the exact apperence of your game folder's content 5. Unpack dataPC.forge, wait until it said "finished serializing.." in the comment tab 6. Right click and choose "open this folder" then Find your original gameboostrap (normally number 29 or 49.. delete it 7. Insert the new gameboostrap (1_-_) then refresh the tab (not the anvil tab!) 8. Refresh the anvil tab, make sure the change is applied 9. Click "up" arrow on the left side (back), it should show the ONLY .data that "recently modified" which in this case, it should be dataPC.forge 10. Right click, repack then wait till it finish serializing.
Bonus: delete extracted and make backup Hope this helps
This is correct however I cerate my mods and change their index to (1) so that it doesn't takeover whatever your vanilla file is. I name and number them so that you can remove the mod easily but also for the fact that since it's now #1 the AnvilToolKit will repack/read that first and ignore the vanilla version. There's no need to delete your vanillla (29 iirc) GameBootStrap because the mod is set to 1.
Apologies wish I could help and explained how to install more. I try to make my mods as ease of access as posible so everyone can enjoy them to the fullest.
Regarding gameboostrap.. it is ill advised to keep both in single repack. Maybe In ACrevelations seems fine, but in ac3 above the outcome would be vary. Ex: crash, weapon mod wouldnt work
not quite sure what mods you're meaning, but yes this mod only affects the Bootstrap. Meaning all of the Hideout Armory, assassin recruits, and enemies will also have their weapons changed if they're holding the corrosponding weapon. Outfit mods are not effacted by this mod.
Thank you! I really glad people are enjoying it. Kept some of the more memorable weapons cause it would've looked kinda odd to see certain figures without their respective weapons, but wanted to make sure they looked good with enemies and Assassins using them.
