Yeah I can imagine. I know a lot more about this stuff today than I did back when I made this. Unfortunately I can also guarantee this mod most likely doesn't work with the latest versions of reshade. I have no idea what version I used back when I made this or how to get that version, but I decided I will re-work / re-make / update this mod to not suck, lol. I need to find the space to install this game again, but once I do, I'll update this mod.
Also note: this mod was created back when I was using a TV as a monitor, I believe, so totally different gamma encoding which might explain the vantablack. Also I had no concept of proper screen calibration at that time.
Also I don't think this is HDR compatible, in case anyone is running HDR. I have HDR support on my system but don't use it because it's still a mostly broken feature in games, and just doesn't work consistently enough to make it worth supporting right now. Plus, a lot of products (and platforms) that claim to be HDR absolutely are not.
You said download the effects, but you dont say do you check all of them or just the pre-checked ones or what...Do i ACTUALLY need them, or are you just saying it when your mod doesnt actually use any of them...

But I think it's pretty good on FPS. I have mine locked to 35 / 30 depending on how I feel, but I don't experience any performance loss with these. I have a GTX 1070 and a modest i7 7700 (not k, even!), and 16GB DDR4.
This preset adds as few fx as possible to get maximum effect, and it doesn't include the performance-heavy ones.
As for FoV, this mod does not affect that. That FX option isn't enabled. If you'd like to tune FoV, you can still do so in the regular game settings. I have mine set to 92 I believe (which is my actual eyesight FoV).

1) What kind of FPS impact does this have?
2) To use the optional Lite version, does it require the main file to be installed too?
3). Does this impact field of view? Or is that still tuned in just the graphics options?
