Don't know if this is a troll but HDR has nothing to do with what's done here. It's just a blue filter, so blue that even the UI moved from white to blue and oversaturated colors. I don't understand why people make reshade like this
Either there is something very wrong with the screen you made this preset on, or there is something very wrong with your eyesight. Maybe both. This is NOT representative of HDR. At all.
yes your right i was high when i made this but the colors are from an actual hdr lookup table,so you only getting the hdr colors with cutouts you cant expect it to give you hdr brightness or many light zones just try it and if the colors are wrong tell me which shade you see the most. i mean is it blueish or redish ,so i can fix it for you . you can also fix it yourself in photoshop.
"HDR colors" don't translate to SDR. It's like trying to sell something for $2.001. People can either give you $2 which will leave you short or if they're very nice they can give you $2.01 which won't fit in your cash register (it's a very tiny register), but they can never give you the amount you asked for.
So colors from outside of SDR color gamuts will just be truncated to a color on the very edge of a gamut that can be displayed, but gamuts are always maximum saturation so changing that has no impact on whether the final color can represent one outside of the available gamut. That can actually be detrimental to the image because you get colors that should be varied in value all crushed in to one value (similar to how brightness can be clipped to white or crushed to black).
On the subject of brightness, the color is the same regardless of how bright the display is, brighter displays are just more impressive because there's more light, not more color.
ehm wel i give you a point for trying but hdr basicly changes the saturation and details and light a bit without losing any of them but i get where ur going with this and even tho its basicly imposible to do it with a reshade since playing a video game in hdr requiers a expensive video card and hdr monitor or on tv it requiers a tv that has hdr so il give thumbs up for trying :) also alot of people are negative but i dont see them doing it they could just not download it or change the saturation and light them selves :)
This looks horrible why is anyone downloading it! Theres natural then theirs enhanced color like OLED then theres someone accidently held down the slider for the 2 point colors too far. That's this mod.
