hey cool mod! just downloaded it do you know of any tutorials that explain simple model swaps kind of like what you did here? ive been trying to change some of the pirates
existing model i was thinking of swapping the pirate sailor with the pirate gunner and the pirate brute with those big shirtless pirates you can hire in cities and then something with the Spanish gunner if end up understanding how it works.
I've got anvil toolkit and have found the data files for each but don't really know where to go from there
what you need to do is export the entity builders files change the id of the entity builder file that contains the model for example
get the pirate sailor's id and put it in the pirate gunner's id then what you want to do is put the edited version of the pirate gunner's entity builder rename to pirate sailor then place it in the sailor's files and compile next you will want to also get the gunner's files except his entity builder (id recommend all of them dont delete em or anything just copy and paste) after you paste them in the sailor's files repack the sailor and then the extra chr file and they should appear
all im doing is swapping the IDs of entity builders? placing the gunner ID into the sailors ID if i wanted the pirate sailors to look like the pirate gunner?

so the ID is all 200ish bytes?
oh i put the entity builder in notepad to find the id?

placing the gunner ID into the sailors ID if i wanted the pirate sailors to look like the pirate gunner?
