I made this to make downloading the Max LOD mods by kamzik12 a little easier. Though now that AC4 Tweaker is out, which basically does what the MAX Lod mods do but better. This is now deprecated.

Right now Installing mods through vortex using this extension doesn't actually install the mods, it just extracts the archives .forge files (if there are any) into a Mods folder located in the game directory here: Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag\Mods
Currently only .forge files will work with install option.
To install this extension, extract the .zip to here %AppData%\Vortex\plugins
Restart Vortex if it is already running, then go into games. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag should show up and be a manageable game within Vortex now.
